UPDATE: The Tate Brothers Receive Bad News

The Tate brothers recently received some bad news from Romanian officials.

Court authorities from Romania have announced that the case against Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan will move forward.

Both are facing charges and allegations of rape and human trafficking but have vociferously maintained their innocence throughout their entire ordeal.

Defense attorneys for the brothers have appealed the decision allowing the case to go forward.

Here’s the latest on the Tate brothers and their ongoing court battle in Romania:

CBS News provided this statement from one of the Tate attorneys:

“The ruling issued by the preliminary chamber judge lacks legal basis and reasoning,” Eugen Vidineac, one of the brothers’ lawyers, said after the decision.

“We have filed a strong appeal as we believe the ruling to be unlawful.”

Tate continues to maintain his innocence and recently wrote: “When you’re an actual sexual predator this is how the Matrix treats you. Kid gloves. They protect the predators and lie about anyone who tells the truth.”

CNN had more background context:

The Tate brothers, both former professional kickboxers, were first arrested in December 2022 and kept in police custody until April 2023, before being placed under house arrest.
