President Trump is set to file a lawsuit against Judge Juan Merchan—a Democrat who is presiding over the ‘hush money’ case.
Merchan recently expanded the gag order against President Trump, but Merchan is a dubious figure at best.
The Manhattan judge not only donated to Biden’s campaign, but his daughter operates a Democrat consulting firm.
I couldn’t think of a bigger conflict of interest or a more clear-cut case where a judge should recuse themselves.
“Democrat Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, who donated to Biden’s campaign and another anti-Trump cause in 2020, has a clear judicial bias against President Trump.
The law and common sense absolutely requires Judge Merchan’s recusal from President Trump’s trial,” Rep. Elise Stefanik pointed out.

Two weeks ago, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson said "My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the government in significant ways."
This week, Judge Juan Merchan expanded a gag order on President Trump.

Breitbart confirmed:
Trump believes Merchan should recuse himself, citing a conflict of interest regarding his daughter’s position at a Democrat consulting firm that supported President Biden’s 2020 campaign.
The suit could postpone Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s (D) case against Trump.
Conservative activist Tiffany Smiley said it all during a recent CNN appearance:
“The American people…believe that our judicial system is sort of rigged against Donald Trump. For example, Judge Juan Merchan…his daughter raises money for Adam Schiff and Kamala Harris…that judge needs to recuse himself from that case.”

MSNBC provided a portion of the latest motion by the Trump defense team calling on Merchan to recuse himself:
“President Trump is now the presumptive Republican nominee and leading candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
His success in the primaries, which followed the Court’s ruling on the previous recusal motion, has cemented his status as a political target of Authentic, Ms. Merchan, and their clients.”
