JUST IN: GOP Reps Introduce Bill To Honor President Trump!

Wow, I never thought I would see the day when I would be writing this, but here we are.

House Republicans have introduced a bill to rename Dulles International Airport, located in the D.C. metropolitan area, after former President Trump.

Obviously, this would be a big honor for the 45th President, and I fully support changing the name of the airport.

However, is this really a priority right now given all of our current problems? The GOP has time to change the name of an airport, but no time to block our hemorrhaging of money to foreign actors like Ukraine and Israel.

They also seem to be completely impotent when it comes to securing our Southern Border. Famed White House correspondent Simon Ateba asked:

“Representative Guy Reschenthaler of Pennsylvania introduced bill HR 7845, suggesting the name change to “Donald J. Trump International Airport.” Is this something that you would support? Is it a priority now?”

Newsweek had this interesting fact about Washington Dulles Airport:

Washington Dulles was ranked 33rd out of 764 U.S. airports in terms of passenger traffic in 2023 by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

“A major House proposal is underway by a group of Republicans to rename Washington Dulles International Airport after President Trump. Imagine the meltdown if this happened,” Ryan Fournier jokingly remarked.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, who introduced the bill, told Fox News:

“In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump.

As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity and strength than hearing ‘Welcome to Trump International Airport’ as they land on American soil.”
