TIDE IS TURNING: Sopranos Star Says She Regrets Voting Biden, Always Loved Trump

Actress Drea de Matteo, best-known for her role as Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos, expressed regret for voting for Biden in 2020.

Speaking to Megyn Kelly, Matteo claimed she was concerned that Trump didn’t have “the voice to unify people if the world was really on fire with this whole race issue,” which influenced her to vote for Biden — which she now wishes she hadn’t done.

Matteo also revealed that she secretly “always loved Trump. Under the radar, always loved him. I loved how crass he is.”

The Daily Caller commented:

“The Sopranos” actress Drea de Matteo said a ticket with former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be “ideal” in the 2024 presidential election.

Matteo said she voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 because she believed Trump was incapable of unifying the country amid the race riots.

“I never voted in my life. My daughter at that time I guess was like you know, you’re just gonna have to pick the lesser of two evils, and in my mind, I believed Trump was and I’m a New Yorker, so I always loved Trump,” Matteo told Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly. “Under the radar, always loved him. I loved how crass he is. I just didn’t think he had the voice to unify people if the world was really on fire with this whole race issue and everything else that was going on at the time that I didn’t really, I wasn’t paying close enough attention to what was really happening, and it was all super divisive and it was all by design.”

This time around, Matteo says her ideal ticket would be Trump/RFK Jr.

The Blaze reported:

With another presidential election just around the corner, de Matteo is now weighing whether to vote for Trump or RFK Jr. The actress claims she has a fondness for the Kennedy dynasty and admires RFK Jr.’s temperament, whereas she respects Trump’s “anti-globalism” and “how crass he is.”

“I’m a New Yorker, so I’ve always loved Trump!” she stated.

Because the two men seem to have such complementary skillsets, de Matteo claimed that she would love to have them “together” on the same ticket. “I feel like Kennedy could be a great voice where Trump loses it, and then Trump is good muscle,” she explained.
