Well, folks, it looks like Jeopardy is the newest member to join the ‘Get Woke’ club.
So that begs the question, will it go broke?
It seems like an inevitablitly as just about every other company, brand, tv show, movie studio, etc that goes down this road ends up in the same financial loss pile.
It was Monday night’s episode that got everyone’s attention with their promoting of a new ‘pronoun’ that looks like it came from the pages of some sci-fi novel.
The clue is: “Xem, xyrs, xemself”
“What are Klingon-named villians in Star Trek?” would’ve been my answer.
Trebeck is probably rolling in his grave.
I imagine a boycott Jeopardy movement
might take this popular show ,down.https://t.co/qsDNeiGROd— Bad Axe for a girl (@wulfette) February 28, 2024
Fox News reports:
Jeopardy!” fans are in an uproar over a clue presented in Monday’s episode.
In the category “Speech! Parts of Speech!”, one of the contestants selected the $600 clue, which, as host Ken Jennings read, was “xem, xyrs, xemself.” The same contestant buzzed in to answer “What are pronouns?”, and Jennings awarded him the money, saying, “Those are pronouns, neopronouns.”
The prefix “neo” means “new” – neopronouns are new pronouns, typically ones that are used to avoid “he” or “she.”
The show moved on quickly, with Jennings and the contestants jumping to the next question, but many viewers were surprised to see a clue about neopronouns on the game show.
“So, in order to win at Jeopardy, you need to be able to keep up with whatever bull the wokes are coming up with?” one person asked on X, formerly Twitter.
Another former fan said they are “done” with “Jeopardy!”, and one said that if they were asked the question, “I would answer by turning off the television, never watching that effing show again.”
“So much for Jeopardy,” a complaint read. “The woke crowd has claimed another. That’s OK. I have my King James Bible to read. Like God, that will never change.”
Several viewers brought up Alex Trebek, the longtime host who died in 2020 after battling pancreatic cancer. The suggestion was that Trebek never would have agreed to such a question being presented on the show.

How appropriate that the word of the day is ‘jeopardy’.
Let’s all recall the actual meaning of the word:

Looks like Jeopardy has put itself in jeopardy, with the impending death of its ratings. How many have just boycotted watching this? The comments are full of people declaring just that!
Breitbart reports on the viewer’s response:
(Jeopardy) was quickly slammed on social media for including the bizarre answer in one of its categories.
“I would answer by turning off the television, never watching that effing show again,” a user said.
“@Jeopardy lost a lifetime fan over pronouns,” one X/Twitter user wrote. “Never thought you would condone mental illness for viewership.”“Dear God, we’ve lost #Jeopardy to the woke insanity,” another reacted.
ADVERTISEMENT“Now @Jeopardy gets to be on my permanent banned list,” another commented.
“If even @Jeopardy thinks these are pronouns, say good bye to to normalcy,” another said.
“I still watch jeopardy every day but their questions and answers keep getting weirder and weirder,” another commented. “When Alex Trebek was still alive we never had any of this.”
“Looks like Our Country is in JEOPARDY!” another X/Twitter user proclaimed.
Others commented on what they would have said if they were presented with the same category on Jeopardy!.
“What are mental illnesses,” one X/Twitter user quipped.
“I would have said ‘what are indicators of mental illness,’” another echoed.
“That would be ‘What is indoctrination,’” a third wrote.
“‘What is batshit crazy?’” another commented.
“What is a cult,” another said.
“I would answer by turning off the television, never watching that effing show again,” another stated.
A slew of social media users also reacted by leaving posts that included the hashtag, “#BoycottJeopardy.”
ADVERTISEMENTAs Breitbart News reported, recent polling suggests that so-called gender ideology is losing in the court of public opinion, with a majority of Americans rejecting the use of “gender-neutral” pronouns, such as “they/them.”

Go woke, go broke?
Jeopardy: “Nah, it may have happened to everyone else. But it won’t happen to us.”
I have a feeling they’re in for a rude awakening.
