In a bizarre turn of events, Hunter Biden has written an op-ed to USA Today where he complains about how Fox News and Republicans weaponize his drug addiction.
In the op-ed, Hunter Biden speaks about the hardships of addiction and how it isn’t fair that people use it against Joe Biden.
All while conveniently avoiding any talk about his corrupt business dealings.

What troubles me is the demonization of addiction, of human frailty, using me as its avatar and the devastating consequences it has for the millions struggling with addiction, desperate for a way out and being bombarded by the denigrating and near-constant coverage of me and my addiction on Fox News (more airtime than GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis) and in The New York Post (an average of two stories a dayover the past year).
The science of addiction and recovery has made great strides in just the past decade. However, far too few will ever experience the miracle of recovery unless we change the stigma around addiction.
For those of us who live in recovery and for those who love someone in recovery, we know how hard fought our newfound lives are in letting go of the shame and making amends.
This entire op-ed screams man-child.

The media is hyper-critical of the Biden family, as they should, and Hunter can’t handle the heat.
So, to cope with the negative attention, he writes an op-ed in hopes of looking like a victim who Fox News bullies.
Nobody is fooled by the corrupt dealing you OR your father engaged in.

The Washington Post shares more on the story:
“My struggles and my mistakes have been fodder for a vile and sustained disinformation campaign against him,” Biden wrote.
Republicans intensified their focus on Hunter Biden in relation to a personal laptop he dropped off at a computer repair shop in 2019 and never returned to claim. Republicans mined its content for embarrassing details about Biden and possible evidence of wrongdoing.
Last month, Biden pleaded not guilty to three felony charges in a federal courthouse in Delaware in connection to a 2018 gun purchase while he was struggling with narcotic use.
House Republicans have accused Biden and other members of his family of acting as conduits for foreign bribes that landed in his father’s bank account — but provided no solid evidence implicating the president.
It's laughable that Hunter Biden tries to garner sympathy with this op-ed and completely ignores what most people bash him for.
His corrupt business dealings in Ukraine and China.
Grow up, Hunter.
No one cares whether you smoked crack.
We care that you are a traitor to this country and have actively worked to unravel our republic.
