Per The Daily Mail:

Longtime pals Barack Obama and Tom Hanks were spotted enjoying a lavish vacation together in Greece alongside their families.

In exclusive new photos, the former US President, 61, and Hollywood star, 66, were seen having an al fresco dinner together at Cantina, a glamorous waterfront restaurant on the island of Sifnos.

Barack’s two daughters Sasha, 22, and Malia, 24, as well as his wife Michelle, 59, were also present for the meal, which took place earlier this month.

As for Tom, he was joined by spouse Rita Wilson, 66. The couple became Greek citizens in 2020, and are thought to have a villa on the island of Antiparos, which is not far from Sifnos.

Obama and Hanks have visited Greece together on multiple occasions and Hanks has visited the country so much he even obtained citizenship there.

Per BBC:

American movie stars Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have officially become citizens of Greece, the country’s prime minister has announced.

The couple posed for a picture with their new passports alongside Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife.

The PM posted the picture on Instagram on Saturday. Hanks and Wilson “are now proud Greek citizens”, he wrote.

Greek media said the meeting took place on the island of Antiparos.

Hanks, Wilson and their children were granted honorary Greek citizenship last year for their role in bringing attention to a devastating wildfire near Athens in July 2018.
