A breaking Fox News report has users on social media asking if Melania Trump has a body double.
In the report, a Fox News anchor says “Melania Trump entered the courthouse a short while ago” and the network proceeded to show a video of a woman who was not Melania
Shortly after Fox News made the blunder, they corrected themselves and confirmed that Melania was not the woman in the video during their original report.

Fox News showed Melania* at the courthouse earlier, and for the first time, I found myself starting to believe the Melania body double conspiracies.
Surprise twist: It was not Melania* pic.twitter.com/K4x7s55tTy

That doesn't even look like Melania or her body double.
Where is Melania? https://t.co/jANt82eBdJ

@FoxNews You are a disgrace! You jump to quick conclusions ALL THE TIME! ZERO CREDIBILITY!
This is not Melania Trump! Doesn’t even look like her! pic.twitter.com/zcdAoUtYaw— 🇺🇸ProudArmyBrat (@leslibless) June 13, 2023
Fox News Anchor John Roberts would later say the woman in the video was Trump’s assistant Margo Martin.
Minutes after reporting that Melania Trump had arrived at the Miami courthouse for her husband's arraignment, Fox News anchor John Roberts issues a correction.
"It's easy from a distance to mistake two people"
Roberts then reports it was actually Trump assistant Margo Martin. pic.twitter.com/Ya6rjk98OP

Fox, that’s Margo Martin. Sometimes referred to as “fake Melania.” pic.twitter.com/nEHFeeIhlh

Fox News was wrong to call Arizona early and they are wrong yet again:
Fox reports Melania arrived at the Miami Court House. However, it was Margo Martin pic.twitter.com/5gduJweRhn

Per The Hill:
Fox News briefly misidentified a female top aide to former President Trump as his motorcade arrived at a Miami courthouse Tuesday to be arraigned on federal charges stemming from his handling of classified documents.
“We have some video here we want to play out, Melania Trump arriving at the courthouse just a short time ago,” anchor John Roberts said during Fox’s live coverage of Trump’s arraignment.
The network simultaneously ran a chyron reading “MELANIA TRUMP ARRIVES IN AT MIAMI COURT.”
The person shown in the footage was not, in fact, the former first lady, but Margo Martin, a former press aide to the president who is one of his top assistants. Melania Trump did not travel to the courthouse Tuesday.
Fox News mistakenly ran a chyron reading “MELANIA TRUMP ARRIVES IN AT MIAMI COURT” as a female top aide to former President Trump arrived instead.

Newsweek covered the story too:
A Fox News anchor accidentally mixed up former President Donald Trump’s assistant for his wife, former First Lady Melania Trump, while awaiting Trump’s highly-publicized arraignment in Miami.
During a Tuesday report, anchor John Roberts clarified that the woman he had previously identified as Melania was actually Margo Martin, a former White House aide who followed Trump to Mar-a-Lago after he left office. Martin currently works for the former president’s 2024 campaign.
“With a day like today, with so many comings and goings, it’s easy, from a distance, to mistake two people,” Roberts said.
