Liberals have been losing their minds this weekend after Travis Kelce — the NFL superstar and boyfriend of Taylor Swift — ‘liked’ a pro-Trump post on Instagram.
Sage Steele, a former anchor for SportsCenter, had uploaded a photo of her shaking hands with President Trump at a UFC event in Miami last month.
She captioned it with, “After years of covering @ufc at ESPN, I FINALLY got to see it live & in person. Game changer. THANK YOU @danawhite … for EVERYTHING! Great people, great event, great fights!”
She added at the bottom of her caption, “cue the divisive, close-minded thoughts and unfollows in 3…2…1…”

Travis Kelce has voiced his support for several left-wing political ideas in the past, including starring in a pro-vaxx ad, kneeling for the national anthem in 2017, and praising gun control.
But, he has not publicly endorsed either candidate for the 2024 election.
His girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on the other hand, has been more outspoken about her left-wing views in recent years.
Many of the social media posts criticizing Kelce for liking a photo of President Trump were from members of Swift’s obsessive fanbase.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has not been very open or explicit about his political beliefs over the past several years, but his recent social media activity might have given a bit of a hint.
Over the weekend, fans noticed that Travis Kelce had “liked” a post from former ESPN commentator Sage Steele, who is an open Trump supporter, meeting and posing with former United States President Donald Trump at the UFC 299 event back in March…
Obviously, this is pretty shocking considering Kelce has seemingly held some pretty liberal views before and is currently dating pop sensation Taylor Swift, who has been quite outspoken in her criticism of Trump over the years, even publicly endorsing Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton as they ran against Trump in the previous two presidential elections.
It’s not clear what Kelce’s intention was behind “liking” the photo, but Swift fans were not exactly happy about it.
