OUTRAGEOUS New Spending Bill Contains $9 MILLION In Earmarks From Dead Democrat Senator

Democrats are notorious for getting votes from dead voters, but this is a new one…

Apparently, the ridiculous $1.2 TRILLION spending bill that just passed in the House contains millions of dollars in earmarks from a dead Democrat senator.

Totaling over a whopping $9 MILLION, 112 earmarks requested by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who passed away in September, have been included in the spending bill.

These include funding for the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, Napa’s Lake Hennessey & Deer Park Fuel Reduction and Community Infrastructure Protection, a California Traditional Food Incubator, UC Davis Health, and other such projects.

Here they are:

The Post Millennial originally reported on this:

Earmarks amounting to at least $9 million in the $1.2 trillion spending package pushed out at 2:30 am on Thursday morning are requested from deceased California Senator Dianne Feinstein. The observation may raise questions about the process by which the spending package was brought forward.

The continuing resolution to fund the government through Fiscal Year 2024 includes millions in the several addenda that seem to be requested by Feinstein for several projects in the state of California. Some of these are paired with requests with other representatives and senators while others are seemingly only made by Feinstein.

Fox News also commented:

And some earmarks even outlast the members who authored them. Even a dead or former lawmaker can score an earmark. Even 112 earmarks. Such was the case with late Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. Feinstein passed away late last September, one day before Congress was supposed to have spending measures approved for this fiscal year. But here we are in mid-March still wrestling with appropriations. So earmarks live on. Feinstein submitted those requests last year – sometimes alongside Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., or Reps. Salud Carbajal, D-Calif., or Jim Costa, R-Calif. This isn’t a new phenomena.

Among Feinstein’s earmark requests: money for a Chinese railroad worker history center and a fire truck for a county in northern California.

So, there you have it.

That’s where your tax dollars are going: to fund projects requested by a deceased senator…

And, remember that it wasn’t just Democrats who passed this INSANE new spending bill…
