Just one day after shamefully refusing to answer any questions during a tense Senate hearing, Dr. Anthony Fauci was confronted by reporters outside his own home.
And, he didn’t react much differently than he did during the hearing.
When a Fox News reporter asked Fauci if he regretted pleading the Fifth or the anything about the way he handled the COVID pandemic, this coward fled into his house.

Fauci was also pressed on if there was anything he would do differently with his handling of COVID, but refused to answer questions.
The confrontation comes after Fauci’s tense Capitol Hill hearing led by @SenRandPaul
regarding the origins of COVID-19 and pandemic-era government policies.
This confrontation took place on Thursday, following a contentious Senate hearing on Wednesday in which Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment to nearly every single question he was asked.
Notably, because of Fauci’s pardon by Joe Biden, it’s legally questionable whether he even has the right to plead the Fifth.
Sen. Rand Paul plans to hold a vote on whether to hold Fauci in contempt of Congress next week.

Fauci’s silence came one day after he declined, on the advice of his attorneys, to answer questions before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, chaired by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.
“Although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch of government, and my decades-long record of cooperating with Congress under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions,” Fauci said in his opening statement.

Paul argues Fauci’s invocation of the Fifth Amendment was unsupported because Biden pardoned him and said the committee will vote next week on a resolution to hold him in contempt of Congress.
“The Fifth Amendment is to claim immunity from self-incrimination,” Paul said on “The Will Cain Show” on Wednesday. “But if you’ve already been given immunity, you can’t self-incriminate unless you lie.”
Fauci also stayed silent when asked if he regrets the decisions he made as the public’s health leader during the pandemic.
