Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin just followed up on President Trump’s bombshell address to the nation on election integrity.
During last night’s speech, President Trump called on the DHS, among other agencies, to pursue criminal investigations due to evidence of a Deep State cover-up.
Full scoop on that here:
President Trump Orders Federal Agencies to Pursue CRIMINAL CHARGES Over Deep State Coverup
This morning, Mullin held a press briefing to talk about his department's investigations into cyber vulnerabilities in voting machines, and what they are doing to secure our elections.
The Hill summarized his speech:
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin went further than President Trump in an address on election security Friday, asserting foreign adversaries could hack voter machines, threatening states that refuse to partner with his department and saying he would use “maximum pressure” to root out any illegally cast votes.
While Trump in his primetime address Thursday called voting machines “vulnerable and they’re easily compromised,” Mullin raised the specter of hackers entering such systems to manually change votes — something the U.S. intelligence community has concluded has never happened.
He also said state election officials will pay a price if they refuse to cooperate with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) efforts, laying the groundwork to access states’ vote tabulators and even their voter rolls — something various courts have repeatedly denied federal government efforts to access.
While delivering remarks, the DHS Chief noted that are simple steps that can be taken to solve the persistent issue of election rigging.
Watch what he had to say here:
As President Trump said last night, Mullin confirmed that foreign adversaries can hack the U.S. elections system.
He then put out a call for every state to put aside their differences in politics and work with the Trump administration to secure our elections, once and for all:
.@SecMullinDHS: "We know for sure that our foreign adversaries, not our allies... have parts that are vital pieces in our voting machines. We know that they can access what they consider the 'key' to the back of these machines. We know they can change voter registration, and your… pic.twitter.com/ZJf64KGMzY

Secretary Mullin's speech follows reporting from the New York Post that claims over 278,000 illegal aliens have been registered to vote -- and, that's only taking into account a few states!
President Trump confirmed those numbers during his speech last night.
More from the New York Post:
In the speech, Trump confirmed The Post’s reporting of the 278,000 illegal voter registrations — noting the full total could be far larger.
“Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that,” he said. “Yet, even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote.”
The shocking number is part of a DHS report that reveals “just how vulnerable elections continue to be,” Trump said in his speech.
ADVERTISEMENTTrump further ordered DHS “to notify every state about non-citizens on their voter rolls and direct them to remove all ineligible voters from the lists immediately.”
It is the highest-ever publicly reported in US history, but a source familiar with the information told The Post on Thursday it remains unclear how many of those registrants may have voted illegally.
Shortly after The Post first revealed on Thursday that DHS found 278,000 noncitizens on voter rolls, Fox News Digital reported that DHS had sent letters on Friday to officials in California, New Jersey, Nevada and Pennsylvania, alerting them to an estimated 256,000 noncitizens registered to vote in their states — the majority of whom were in the Golden State.
US law holds that it is illegal for non-citizens to vote in the United States, punishable by a year in jail and a fine — but ultimately states shoulder the burden to verify a voter’s eligibility.
Markwayne Mullin also confirmed those statistics in this clip from his remarks today:

...he still has 46 OTHER STATES to comb through
