Eric Trump Takes First Flight to Newly-Renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport

It’s official!

Palm Beach International Airport is no more…

It’s now been re-named to President Donald J. Trump International Airport!

The signs went up in Florida this week.

Take a look:

The first flight in to the newly-renamed airport happened early this morning.

Poetically, Trump Force One touched down at President Donald J. Trump International Airport around 5 AM.

Eric Trump, son of President Trump, was personally aboard the flight.

What a way to honor President Trump’s legacy!

Fox News provided more background on the significant name change:

The South Florida hub was formerly known as Palm Beach International Airport for nearly half a century leading up to the change. The rebrand has been linked to the president’s deep ties to the area, including his repeated presence at the airport and his Mar-a-Lago estate located a few miles away.

The president’s son also said that choosing Trump Force One to usher in the rebrand’s debut was no coincidence, tying the plane’s significance to seasons of Trump’s campaigns and his presidency.

“This is the plane that carried him to victory… It was the backdrop of so many of the presidential campaign stops,” he recalled.

“There’s so many stops with us as a family, so it was an incredibly special moment for us this morning.”

Thursday’s inaugural flight marked the ceremonial culmination of a law signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis earlier this year, which officially redesignated Palm Beach International Airport as President Donald J. Trump International Airport in recognition of the president’s longstanding ties to the area.
