Congressman Moves to IMPEACH Activist Judge Sparkle Sooknanan

Efforts are underway in the House to impeach a foreign-born, rogue federal judge who recently blocked President Trump’s voter verification efforts.

This judge’s name is Sparkle Sooknanan (yes, really.) She was born in Trinidad and Tobago and was appointed to the bench by Joe Biden.

Late last month, Judge Sparkle ruled against the Trump administration in a key election integrity case.

The Hill provided more details on that ruling:

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from creating a centralized database containing Social Security numbers along with information about voters’ citizenship status and other sensitive data.

District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, an appointee of former President Biden, said officials across numerous government agencies “haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable” in order to comply with President Trump’s March executive order attempting to overhaul federal elections.

The order required the federal government to establish a list of eligible voters based on available citizenship data and directed the U.S. Postal Service to only deliver mail-in ballots to individuals on each state’s approved voter roll.

Trump specifically directed the Social Security Administration to create a “State Citizenship List” derived from its data, naturalization records and the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database, an existing database maintained by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that is used to determine eligibility for federal programs.

“Since then, states have partnered with the federal government to access the database and are actively removing United States citizens from voter rolls based on inaccurate information,” Sooknanan wrote in her 75-page ruling.

This is yet another clear and egregious instance of judicial overreach by a left-wing, activist judge who is seeking to undermine President Trump’s efforts to secure our nation’s elections.

So, in response, Republican Rep. Abe Hamadeh is taking action to impeach Judge Sparkle.

In a post on X, he announced that he will be introducing articles of impeachment against her:

Her power grab against President Trump cannot be tolerated. Rogue judges like her are destroying the rule of law while communists undermine America.

Americans elected Trump to lead, not the rogue judges who are behaving as activists for the communists cloaked in their black robes.

Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan’s egregious overreaching ruling blocking President Trump’s common-sense effort to verify the citizenship of those who want to vote in our elections was the final straw.

It was a blatant and unlawful subversion of the President’s executive authority and a direct assault on election integrity.

Judges who weaponize their bench to interfere with the President’s constitutional duties must be held accountable.

On Thursday, Congressman Hamadeh will be introducing articles of impeachment to remove her from the bench and restore the rule of law.

It’s high time that judges like Sparkle Sooknanan are held accountable.
