The long-awaited trial of Karmelo Anthony, who has been charged with murder for stabbing 17-year-old Texas football star Anthony Metcalf to death, has begun.
Outside the courthouse, supporters of Karmelo Anthony have gathered to demonstrate in his defense.
Two white men also showed up to back Metcalf’s family. And, apparently, this caused several of the Karmelo Anthony supporters to become enraged.
A video is going viral of one man hurling violent, racist threats at one of the Metcalf supporters, repeatedly calling him a “cracker” and saying that he’s going to “push you into that grave.”
In that clip, another Karmelo Anthony supporter could be heard threatening the white man that he’s “gone end up like Metcalf!”
Watch the shocking moment for yourself:

These people are absolutely deranged.
As you can see in that clip, police are patrolling the area outside the courthouse.
But, it’s infuriating that this kind of nonsense is even tolerated!
Imagine if the roles were reversed, and a group of white men were screaming racist, violent threats at a black person.
You have to wonder if that would still be permitted…
Take a look at some of these insightful responses from folks on X:
But remember only white people can be racist 🙄

Why don’t they turn out like this when a black person kills a black person? I’ll tell you why… black lives only matter when they’re taken by a white cop or during election time.

Ah yes, let me show solidarity with someone I believe to be wrongly accused of murder by threatening to murder someone who disagrees.

In addition to being incredibly hostile, these Karmelo Anthony supporters are also staging cringe chants outside the courthouse.
Frontlines TPUSA shared more footage from the scene:

As these crazy lunatics are outside the courthouse defending a murderer, Karmelo Anthony is inside, pleading not guilty.
His lawyers are arguing that he acted in self-defense.
Here’s a summary of how the trial is going, so far:
- Case Background: 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony is on trial for first-degree murder in the April 2, 2025, stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Frisco ISD high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. Anthony has pleaded not guilty, claiming self-defense. He faces up to life in prison.
- Incident: During a rain delay, Metcalf asked Anthony (from a rival school) to leave his team’s tent. The argument escalated when Metcalf pushed or grabbed Anthony, who then pulled a knife and stabbed Metcalf once in the chest before fleeing the scene.
- Jury Selection: A jury of 12 plus 6 alternates was seated after summoning hundreds of potential jurors. The defense raised (and lost) a Batson challenge over the removal of Black prospective jurors. The final jury has no Black members.
- Opening Statements: Prosecution called the stabbing a “senseless murder” and “sneak surprise attack,” showing surveillance video. Defense argued self-defense, stating Anthony reacted in fear after being physically confronted.
- Clashes Outside Courthouse: The trial has drawn significant protests and tensions outside the Collin County Courthouse in McKinney. Supporters of both sides have gathered, with Anthony supporters chanting and demonstrating. Reports include heated confrontations, with some Anthony backers shouting racial slurs and violent threats at Metcalf family supporters and others.
- Trial Status: Opening arguments began recently; the trial is expected to last about two weeks with tight security and restrictions on media and public access inside the courtroom.
