WATCH: Even ‘The View’ Isn’t Buying Jill Biden’s Revisionist History On Joe’s Cognitive Decline

Whoopi, Joy, and the rest of the crew on ABC’s “The View” have proven that they’re almost always ready to accept whatever the Democratic Party says at face value.

But even they weren’t ready to lap up Jill Biden’s latest claim that she was actually very concerned about Joe Biden during his disastrous 2024 presidential debate and had never acted that way before or since.

It was a convenient excuse contradicted by tons of evidence of Biden’s decline throughout his time in office. 

Nevertheless, the reaction from “The View” shows just how flat Jill Biden’s remarks fell.

As Fox News reported:

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin said she was disappointed in former first lady Jill Biden on Friday and doubted that she never saw signs of her husband, former President Joe Biden, declining.

“I’m a little disappointed in the fact that she was living with Joe Biden. She must have seen some of his decline. She must have seen it,” Hostin said. “Although she did say, ‘I’d never seen him like that, and I haven’t seen him like that since.’ I can’t imagine that the Joe — they’ve been together so long — I can’t imagine that the Joe Biden leading up to that debate, she had not seen him,”

Fellow co-host Joy Behar asked if she thought it was Jill’s responsibility to say something to her husband about running for a second term.

“I think she should have privately told him, ‘Joe, do you really think you should run again?’ Because he promised us that he’s going to be a one-term president,” Hostin responded.

Of course, that criticism is likely rooted in the fact that the Democrats lost in 2024 rather than concern for the nation or even the Bidens. 

But plenty of critics across the ideological spectrum were similarly critical of the former first lady’s latest remarks:

Here’s another bit of convenient ignorance on Jill Biden’s part, this time concerning her husband’s physical health.

Per The Hill:

She said in a preview clip released Friday from an interview with CBS News’s Rita Braver that former President Biden’s cancer diagnosis was “shocking.” 

The former president revealed his diagnosis last year in May, and a spokesperson told The Hill later that fall that he was undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment. 

When pressed by Braver about whether the White House physicians should have caught this diagnosis while her husband was in office, Jill Biden cited medical testing standards to discontinue prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing for older patients. 

“Well, you know, the doctor said that according to the American Urological Association, that men over 70 don’t need a PSA, a blood test, anymore because it’s a slow-growing cancer,” she said.

The former first lady added, “I do feel we had amazing care in the White House, but somehow that was missed.”
