The alarming ease with which today’s Democratic Party throws around Adolf Hitler allegations is bad enough. It only gets worse when a member of that party seeking elected office seems to be openly calling for Jews to be rounded up and imprisoned in America.
Even some reasonable Democrats were rightfully outraged by the recent comments from Maureen Galindo, who wants to represent Texas in the US House of Representatives.
As TheBlaze reported:
“She’ll turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking,” she wrote about herself in the third person.
ADVERTISEMENT“It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists,” she added.
Galindo is vying against former Bexar County Public Information Officer Johnny Garcia in the Democratic primary runoff, which is scheduled for May 26.
She said Garcia should be tried for treason for being supported by Israel and added that any other politician supported by Israel should be tried for treason.
“In fact, as soon as I’m elected, I’ll start the process of having all American candidates and elected officials who knowingly accepted Israeli-affiliated money tried for treason,” she said.
The outrageous, antisemitic rant continued, drawing harsh criticism on social media:

To her credit, even Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) looks like one of the Democrats capable of calling out this rhetoric for what it is:

Fox News also covered the candidate’s controversial remarks:
Her remarks, which have been called antisemitic by critics, have drawn rebuke from fellow Democrats and The New York Times, which urged voters not to allow her to win the May 26 runoff against Garcia, who is considered a moderate.
In other social media posts, Galindo has accused Garcia—a former hostage negotiator and public information officer for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office—of wanting “Jews and Mexicans in warehouses.” She also accused “billionaire Zionists” of controlling San Antonio and South Texas trafficking networks.
During an appearance on Texas Public Radio last week, Galindo refuted accusations of antisemitism while reaffirming her opposition to “Zionist Jews.”
“I’m not antisemitic. In fact, my last serious relationship was with a Jewish man,” Galindo said, as reported by The Times of Israel. “I’m against Zionist Jews. When I said that the Jews who own Hollywood are doing this, do all Jews own Hollywood? No. The Zionist Jews do. The Zionist Jews own our media, our banks, and all of our politicians.”
