USA Today reported more on the new details of Tiger’s arrest:

Wearing a blue golf shirt and battling a case of the hiccups, Tiger Woods left the scene of his March 27 rollover crash in the back seat of a law enforcement officer’s vehicle, body camera footage from the Martin County (Florida) sheriff’s office shows.

Woods said nothing after getting in the vehicle and appeared to briefly fall asleep during the 17-minute video.

The footage, obtained by the USA TODAY Network on April 2, provides additional insight into the aftermath of the crash that left Woods and the sole occupant of the vehicle hit by Woods’ SUV unhurt. Woods was arrested and jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence after he failed a field sobriety test.

Officers on scene said Woods was “sweating profusely” while they questioned him at the scene. They also said they found two hydrocodone painkiller pills in Woods’ pocket at his time of arrest, according to the arrest affidavit obtained March 31 by USA TODAY.

Body-worn camera footage from a Martin County sheriff’s investigator shows Woods’ surprise at being arrested after the investigator determined he was impaired following the March 27 rollover crash.

Woods was handcuffed following the completion of multiple field sobriety tests, in which he struggled at times to follow the investigator’s directions.

“I’m being arrested?” Woods asked as he was being handcuffed and taken to the back of a sheriff’s vehicle. Footage from the vehicle shows Woods sweating heavily while he is loaded into the vehicle.

The New York Post reported President Trump spoke with Woods following his arrest:

President Trump told The Post that he spoke with golfer Tiger Woods following his latest DUI arrest in Florida — saying the legendary athlete “lives a life of pain” due to existing physical injuries, but is “doing great.”

“I have” talked with Woods, Trump said in a Tuesday phone interview. “I think he’s doing great, he’s doing good.”

The 50-year-old golfer — who is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. – allegedly had two hydrocodone pills in his pocket when he flipped his luxury Land Rover in Jupiter Island, Florida, last Friday.
