It appears AG Pam Bondi put up a fight before being fired.
As WLT Report previously reported, AG Pam Bondi was fired by President Trump on Wednesday night.
Trump confirmed the firing in a Truth Social post stating Bondi will be replaced by Deputy AG Todd Blanche.
Now, new details have emerged that Bondi was begging President Trump to not be fired.

The Daily Mail had the full scoop:
Attorney General Pam Bondi begged Donald Trump not to fire her in an explosive showdown at the White House after he accused her of an unforgivable offense.
Trump fired Bondi on Thursday, the second cabinet casualty in less than a month, after months of controversy, including the botched handling of the Epstein files.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will serve as acting attorney general until a permanent nominee is picked.

Many conservatives have expressed that Bondi’s firing was a long time coming:
Bondi should have been fired the day after the Epstein binder fiasco, which was one of the dumbest, most gratuitous and wholly unnecessary stunts I’ve ever seen in politics. I’m glad she’s gone now. We need someone who will actually do things. Not pretend to do things.

Mediaite reported more on the response of Republicans to Bondi being canned:
Republicans who had been critical of Bondi’s controversial rollout of files related to late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein welcomed news of her leaving her position with open arms.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) expressed optimism over reports that EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin could be Trump’s choice to replace Bondi.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who was behind legislation to release the Epstein files, put out his own poll asking whether Trump was right to fire Bondi and received an overwhelming “yes.”
Democrats also welcomed news of Bondi being removed.
Trump confirmed Bondi’s firing in a Truth Social post on Thursday. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is taking Bondi’s position temporarily until a replacement is named.
“Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900,” wrote Trump. “We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
