VP JD Vance Reveals Government Policy IGNORES Fraud Cases Under $1.5M — “We’re Changing That!”

Vice President JD Vance just revealed one reason why so many fraudsters get away with it.

He said that, under current government policy, fraud cases under $1.5 million are not prosecuted.

They are simply ignored.

Watch what he told Benny Johnson today:

This just BLEW my mind.

JD Vance Revealed that the US Government does not Even Prosecute FRAUD Under $1.5 Million Dollars.

“We do not prosecute fraud in this country if it’s under $1.5 million dollars per year!”

“One of the things we are trying to do with this task force is commit the DOJ to investigating ALL FRAUD.”

JD Vance says the fraudsters in Minnesota are being HELPED by the Democrat politicians in power:

“I do not believe that what happened in the Somali immigrant community in Minnesota happens without some cooperation from politicians, without people looking the other way, or maybe even being in the fraud themselves.”

This is unbelievable!

It’s almost like past administrations incentivized fraudsters to steal from the American taxpayer by simply not doing anything to hold them accountable…

But, that’s all changing now.

VP Vance confirmed to Nick Shirley that this policy of not prosecuting fraud under a certain amount will be ending.

He also said that prosecutions will be coming very soon.

Watch here:

This comes as Vice President Vance’s new task force is starting to ramp up enforcement.

On Friday, VP Vance hosted the first Fraud Task Force meeting.

During the meeting, he said that a lot of anti-fraud protection was rolled back under the Biden administration, which allowed taxpayers to get ripped off for years.

More from The National News Desk:

Vance told attendees there have never been an administration that took fraud seriously, describing it as a massive problem under former President Joe Biden.

“A lot of the anti-fraud protections that existed in our government for a very long time were actually turned off by the Biden administration,” Vance explained.

“We’re going to turn back on those anti-fraud protections so that all of these Cabinet officials are looking at what’s going on and focusing on it.”
