After rejecting President Trump’s 15-point plan, Iran has offered the United States its own conditions to end the war.
On Wednesday, Iranian state media reported Iranian officials were not interested in what the United States had to offer in its 15-point peace plan.
Instead, Iran offered its own conditions, including demands unlikely to be accepted by the United States.
CNBC provided the full list of conditions Iran has offered the U.S.:
Here is Iran’s complete list of conditions, according to Press TV:
A complete halt to “aggression and assassinations” by the enemy.
The establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure that the war is not reimposed on the Islamic Republic.
Guaranteed and clearly defined payment of war damages and reparations. The conclusion of the war across all fronts and for all resistance groups involved throughout the region.
Iran’s exercise of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is and will remain Iran’s natural and legal right, and it constitutes a guarantee for the implementation of the other party’s commitments, and must be recognized.
Earlier Wednesday, the Fars News Agency, another Iranian state media outlet said there have been increased U.S. efforts to enact a ceasefire and start indirect talks with Iran to end the war.
“Iran does not accept a ceasefire,” a so-called source told Fars, according to a translation of the news site’s Telegram page that reported the interview.
“Basically, it is not logical to enter into such a process with those who violate the agreement,” the source said.
BREAKING: Iran says no negotiations will take place until their "five conditions" are met.
Iran also says it will end the war at a time of its own choosing and only if the conditions it has set are fulfilled. https://t.co/j5f9L003tF

Pakistan has recently requested that JD Vance lead any future negotiations between Iran if the U.S. is to have any success.
The Guardian reports:
Pakistan’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, says his country is ready to “facilitate meaningful and conclusive talks” to end the war in the Middle East amid attempts to push Islamabad as a possible venue for negotiations between the US and Iran.
Pakistani sources said the US vice-president, JD Vance, was being put forward as a probable chief negotiator from the US side if talks went ahead. Iranian sources have said they would refuse to sit down with Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, or Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who led the nuclear negotiations with Iran before the war.
Officials in Pakistan said the US and Iran could meet for negotiations in Islamabad as early as this week to discuss an end to the war, which began almost a month ago.
