Georgia Teacher K*lled After Illegal Alien Crashed Into Her Car While Fleeing ICE

A beloved teacher in Savannah, GA was killed after an illegal alien crashed his vehicle into her car while he was trying to flee from ICE agents.

While being pursued by immigration authorities, 38-year-old Oscar Vasquez Lopez from Guatemala made a reckless U-turn and ran a red light, colliding into another car.

Linda Davis, a special needs teacher at Herman W. Hesse K-8 School, was in the car that he struck.

She was taken to a hospital and later passed away from her injuries.

This clip from news station WJCL has more details:

THIS IS WHY BORDER SECURITY MATTERS: Yet another American has lost their life because of an ILLEGAL ALIEN.

I thought Democrats said illegals were perfect little angels and did nothing wrong.

Dr. Linda Davis did NOT deserve to lose her life, but Biden’s open border CRISIS has put every American in danger.

“The Department of Homeland Services says that a man was fleeing ICE officials when he ran a red light and took an illegal U-turn right here. This is the exit you would take when going onto the Truman Parkway. It was then that he hit and k*lled a Chatham County educator.”

Horrifying.

The illegal alien who crashed into Linda’s car was treated for minor injuries.

He is now being charged with first-degree homicide, among other charges.

The New York Times reported:

Mr. Lopez was also transported to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the police. There were no other passengers in his vehicle.

The Chatham County Police Department said it was not involved with the ICE operation, nor had it been aware of it beforehand. The police arrested Mr. Lopez and charged him with first degree homicide, reckless driving, driving without a valid license and failure to obey a traffic control device, according to Betsy Nolen, a spokeswoman for the police department.

Department of Homeland Security officials said that Mr. Lopez had entered the United States illegally at an unknown date and location. A department spokeswoman pointed fingers at politicians and media whom she said have demonized ICE and encouraged resistance of agents.

“Fleeing from and resisting federal law enforcement is not only a crime but extraordinarily dangerous and puts oneself, our officers and innocent civilians at risk,” said Tricia McLaughlin, the spokeswoman. “Now, an innocent bystander has lost their life.”

This is equally tragic and infuriating.

If Lopez had not illegally crossed the border into our country in the first place, then Ms. Davis would still be alive.

This is why the work ICE and Border Patrol are doing is so important for the safety of the American people.
