WATCH: Minnesota National Guard Hands Out Donuts & Coffee to Anti-ICE Protestors in Minneapolis

Following the riots that followed the fatal shooting in Minneapolis on Saturday, Gov. Tim Walz deployed the National Guard.

And, apparently, the first orders they were given was to start handing out coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts to the anti-ICE protestors.

The National Guard members were also given reflective vests to wear so that rioters don’t, God forbid, confuse them with ICE.

When asked why they were doing this, a National Guardsmen said that it was intended to demonstrate “safety and security.”

Watch:

I have to wonder who, exactly, the National Guard is there “to help.”

Are they there to help restore order so that federal agents can finish their operation in the city, or are they actually there to assist the rioters who were literally biting off fingers of federal agents yesterday?

Keep in mind that, right now, the Minnesota National Guard is not under federal control. It’s under control of Gov. Tim Walz.

But, the fact that all they seem to be doing is rewarding anti-ICE protestors with treats has many wondering if it should be federalized.

Take a look at some of these replies:

This comment is just hilarious:

What do you think?

Should President Trump federalize the Minnesota National Guard?

What are your feelings?
