Chicago Police Chief Says Federal Agents Must Be Respected After Minneapolis ICE Shooting

This is awesome.

Chicago Police Chief Larry Snelling just took a bold stand against the violent left.

Speaking in support of ICE following the incident in Minneapolis this past week, Snelling set some things straight for leftists.

I’ll sum it up in two clear points:

1. Federal agents are law enforcement officers and are to be treated with respect.

2. Trying to obstruct them or run them over with your car is a crime, and the law makes it clear that they are authorized to use deadly force in response.

Watch his full message here for yourself:

Backup here, if needed:

BREAKING: The Chief of Chicago Police is being praised nationwide for the moment he STOOD WITH ICE instead of the Left

“Let me make this CLEAR! Federal agents, ICE, HSI, are officers. They are agents of law enforcement.”

“If you box them in…plow a VEHICLE, you’re using DEADLY FORCE. And THEY can use deadly force in response to stop YOU!”

“We need to be clear about these laws. We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands and start to commit crimes against law enforcement!”

“It is a crime. You may not like what they’re doing. I can understand that there’s a lot of emotions out there, but that does NOT mean that you get to commit a crime, especially one that could lead to deadly force.”

“We need to keep everyone safe. Our responsibilities when it comes to federal agents, and I’ve been asked these questions, we do not interfere with the duties and responsibilities of federal agents.”

This is literally just common sense.

Every single police chief should be saying this. This is DEEP BLUE CHICAGO!

Very well said, Chief Snelling!

What a refresher.

We need more of this type of common sense around the nation — especially in our blue cities.

Sadly, it’s sorely lacking even within police forces in left-wing cities.

For instance, contrast the Chicago police chief’s reality check to the left with the response of Portland’s police chief Bob Day to Tren de Aragua members being shot by federal agents:

UNREAL: Portland Police Chief Breaks Down and Starts Crying When He Admits Two People Shot By CBP Were Tren de Aragua

In short, we need more Larry Snellings in law enforcement, and less Bob Days...
