Revival & Rejoicings In The Day Of Your Visitation.

As soon as I began to record this message, a very strong anointing fell upon me.

Today we will discuss a lot problems that the church is facing. We don’t want to miss the day of our Visitation.

I truly believe that we are going to experience great revival in the coming years ahead of us. Even though there is much evil in our country and in other nations around the world, revival will surely come.

The lord is going to visit us with his spirit in great outpouring. I trust that you will be truly blessed as you study along with us in the scriptures today. Amen.

FULL TRANSCRIPT:

Pastor Robb Goodman: Good morning everybody and happy new year to you. My name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I’m the senior pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland in the beautiful United States of America. Amen. Happy New Year to you. A blessed and happy 2026.

It sure came quickly, did it not? I just can’t imagine where the last year went. It just seemed like it came in and it went out. It was quick and it was quite an interesting year, was it not? I trust the Lord that this one is going to be better, a better year for all of us.

Praise be to God. I’ve got a wonderful message for you all today and I’m going to share the title of that message with you in just a minute. But before we begin, let’s go ahead and pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you and we praise you that you are the Lord God and that you are our God and you will never change.

You are our father. You Jesus are our big brother, our elder brother, and you paid the price by dying on the cross for our sins. And you gave us that beautiful gift of righteousness. And the scripture says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.”

Why? Because the law of the spirit of life has made us free from the law of sin and death. Because what the law could not do, God did by sending his only son in the likeness of sinful flesh. And for account of sin, he deprived it of its power in us.

Praise be to God. You and I are free from sin. We have been given the gift of righteousness and we are able to rule and reign on this earth even before Jesus comes, even before we get to heaven. We have the victory in our lives right now.

So I’m going to share the title of today’s message with you today. The title of today’s message is Revival and Rejoicing in the Day of Your Visitation. Revival and Rejoicing in the Day of Your Visitation.

And the first scripture that we’re going to look at today is 1 Peter chapter 2 and we’re going to start with verse 11. “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, the people that we live in the world every day, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”

I believe that this year is going to be a day of revival and visitation and great rejoicing. The Lord gave my wife those two words, revival and rejoicing, for this coming year. And I am very grateful because I had been seeking the Lord about a word for this upcoming year and the Lord gave it to my wife which is wonderful.

And I am very blessed and very happy that the Lord is faithful to speak to our family members just like he speaks to me and he speaks to you. He speaks to all of us. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow.”

Why should we be afraid to hear the voice of the Lord? You know oftentimes the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Holy Spirit talks to us and Jesus gave us Holy Spirit to be our teacher, to be our comforter, to lead us and guide us into all truth.

So you and I do not have to fear whether we truly hear the voice of God because God does speak to his children. What father is there? What mother is there that will not communicate with their children that they love?

God loves us. He loves us so very much. He loves you so very much and he wants to do a great work in your life this year. Now, the scripture says right there that we just read in 1 Peter chapter 2, it says, “I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims.”

Sojourners means that we’re just traveling through this world right now for a period. Whatever the years that God gives us, we’re traveling through this life. And pilgrims means that we are not of this world. Our citizenship is in heaven.

Amen. That’s where our citizenship is. You know, I’m happy to be a citizen of the United States of America. I was born and raised here. I love my country. I love my present-day president. He’s an awesome man of God and I’m very grateful for President Trump.

And I’m asking you, please pray for this man. Please pray for this man. And I’m sure all of you have heard about the conflict. I’m sorry, I can’t think of the right word. They went into Caracas, Venezuela, and took out Nicolás Maduro and his wife, and they’re bringing him back on a ship, the US Iwo Jima, to New York to stand for his war crimes.

And this was an act, praise be to God, that our government and generals devised and executed it perfectly. Perfectly. I heard President Trump speak on Saturday about how a few soldiers were shot, but they were not killed. None of our men died that we know of as of yet.

So hopefully that’s true, you know, and we need to pray for President Trump every day. You know, the left hates this man. They hate him. But you and I have the power in the name of Jesus to pray for this man of God that God has chosen to be our president.

And only the Lord knows where our country would have been if the opposing side would have won this last election. Blessed be the name of the Lord. So they might speak against us as being evildoers. You know, the left is always saying terrible things about President Trump.

They’ve lied about him. They’ve come against his family. They’ve used lawfare against him. I mean, it’s just been unbelievable what that man has gone through. And you and I, they might come after us one day, but we must rejoice in the day of our visitation because I believe that great revival is coming to the United States and to other countries around the world.

You know, I think about my Pakistani pastor friends and the stories that they’ve shared with me of people that they know that were killed in India right now. You know, people are suffering for their faith. I mean, it’s just absolutely horrible.

And please pray for all the Nigerian Christians that have been killed. Please pray that God would send his warring angels over Nigeria and protect the believers there. They’re our brothers and our sisters and they’ve been persecuted and killed and martyred for their faith.

So please, let’s do everything that we need to do. Peter tells us that we are to abstain from fleshly lust that war against our soul. He also tells us that there will be a day of visitation where those who mocked us will one day give glory to God.

Don’t give up and do not quit. Amen. Don’t ever quit. Your faith is so much more valuable than just throwing it away because Satan has tormented you. Satan is a liar and I bind his lies over your mind.

I cover you right now with the blood of Jesus Christ because Satan has lied to you. He’s discouraged you. Don’t believe his evil words. You’re a child of God and you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Jesus gave you righteousness. Now use his name. Use the power of prayer and exercise your God-given authority over the evil one. Amen. You have every right to do that. Let’s go to Jeremiah chapter 10. Jeremiah chapter 10.

Now, this is a scripture that really, really grabs me. Think about this. We’re going to look at verse 21. “For the shepherds have become dull-hearted and have not sought the Lord.” Listen to this. The shepherds have become dull-hearted and they have not sought the Lord.

Therefore, they shall not prosper and all their flock shall be scattered. You know folks, that’s a scary word right there. This is a dangerous place for shepherds to be like this. How can a shepherd lead his sheep if he is blind?

Many will soon leave these shepherds and go to shepherds who will feed them and guide them. Praise be to God. I believe that these churches and even these—again I’m not speaking evil against any other people. Don’t take me wrong.

I’m not a perfect righteous man. I’ve got issues in my life that I’m dealing with right now, you know, but I believe with all my heart that many of these churches that have blind shepherds and they’re not feeding them with the word of God, that in the days to come, many are going to leave these false shepherds and they’re going to turn to shepherds who will truly feed them and nurture them in the word of God.

Now, that’s what I believe is going to happen. Praise be to God. Let’s look at Luke 24. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And we are going to look at verse 40. “And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

But while they still did not believe for joy and marveled, he said to them, ‘Have you any food here?’ So they gave him a piece of broiled fish and some honeycomb. And he took it and ate it in their presence. Then he said to them, ‘These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms concerning me.'”

And he opened their eyes and their understanding that they might comprehend the scripture. Then he said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remissions of sin should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

And you were witnesses of these things. “Behold, I send the promise of my father upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Now, what’s interesting is also that there were men that were walking on the road to Emmaus and Jesus revealed himself to them.

He reveals himself in his resurrected body to his followers. Praise be to God. And we can look at Luke 24 verse 30. Did I just bring that up? Luke 24. Yeah, I already did. I’m sorry. Praise be to God. God is so good. Amen. He is so awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Let’s go to Luke 19. And we’re going to start with verse 41. “Now as he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, ‘If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace, but now they are hidden from your eyes.1

For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you2 and surround you and close you in on every side and level you and your children within you to the ground. That they will not leave in you one stone upon another because you did not know the time of your visitation.'”

Man, I’m telling you folks, we must be aware of the day of our visitation. And we must be ready to fight the good fight of faith to the very end of our breath. We must give our everything to the Lord. That is what God has called us to do as his followers.

Praise be to God. Thank you, Jesus. All right, let’s go to Matthew 23:13. Man, I’m telling you, this is powerful, folks. “But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering in to go in.

Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore, you will receive the greater condemnation.” And these are the things that happened. You know, some of these lawyers, scribes, Pharisees, and lawyers, you know, a man who was about to die would entrust his wife and finances, his earnings that he made to this lawyer.

And what happened on many occasions—this is a historical fact. What happened on many occasions is that these lawyers robbed from these widows. Remember the widow that only had two small mites to give. And Jesus said she gave everything that she had.

Man, I’m telling you folks, God is going to deal with the shepherds. With the shepherds that robbed from God’s people and did not tell them the truth. It is time that you and I preach the gospel, the truth of the word of God, and be honest and be bold about it.

“Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you travel land and sea to win one proselyte. And when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you yourselves.” Man, I’m telling you folks, that is just unbelievable. That is just unbelievable.

And Jesus told them, he told them, and when he left, he cursed the sycamore fig tree. Unbelievable, folks. Unbelievable. Jesus speaks and utters great woes to the scribes and Pharisees who claimed to be true followers. They were cut down by those words that Jesus spoke against them.

Devouring widows’ houses. The phrase “devouring widows’ houses” means greedily cheat widows out of their property. In ancient times, widows held little or no power in the courts. It was not uncommon for a husband to appoint in his will a Jewish legal expert, a scribe or Pharisee, to be the executor of his widow’s estate.34

Essentially, this gave the executor authority to oversee th5e widow’s finances and assets. It would not be hard for a corrupt lawyer to find legal ways to trick a widow out of her house and other property6. And this is precisely what the religious leaders were doing.

It could be that why the poor widow Jesus noticed in Mark 12:42 only had two very small copper coins to give. They were thieves and robbers of the worst kind, and they were supposed to represent the kingdom of God. Oh my, I’m telling you, great judgment would soon fall upon them all.

What Jesus spoke came to pass because Jerusalem was closed in on every side, and there was not one stone left upon another. Let’s look at Isaiah 41. Oh boy. Let me get a drink of my tea here. Got some wonderful red Rooibos tea that my wife made for me this morning.

That’s some good stuff. All right. Verse one. “Keep silence before me, O coastal lands, and let the people renew their strength. Let them come near. Let them speak. Let us come near together for judgment. Who raised up one from the east, who in righteousness called him to his feet, who gave him the nations before him and made him rule over kings?7

Who gave them as the dust to his sword, as driven stubble to his bow, who pursued them and passed safely by the way, that he had not gone with his feet, who has performed and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord am the first and with the last 8I am he.”

Man, I’m telling you folks, God is faithful to deal with all wickedness and unrighteousness. And if you’re not in Christ Jesus, a woeful future awaits you. Give your heart to Jesus today. Give your heart to him. Don’t let time go by.

No one knows how long they will live on this earth. Jesus died for you because he loved you. He shed his blood. He was beaten. He was beaten. And the sin of the whole world came upon him. The father had to turn his face away from his own son on that cross.

Oh, I just can’t imagine it when Jesus cried out, “Father, father, why have you forsaken me?” That must have been the worst pain even than the physical pain that he endured. And the sin of the whole world came on one man. I can’t imagine it. I just can’t imagine.

It’s just hard to imagine. Judgment prophesied in the old covenant; prophets were the voice of the Lord in those days. Prophets are very real today in the church and to the nations. You know, my youngest son who lives in Florida, he’s got a very strong prophetic calling upon his life.

And I’m amazed at what the Lord shows him. I’m just absolutely amazed at his walk with the Lord and how he loves God with all his heart and is willing to obey the Lord. He started a Bible study a couple of years ago on Monday nights for men. One person came for a couple of years.

Now, he’s got a whole room full of people that are coming, men who are being blessed and touched and their lives are being changed. And he’s so excited about it. He belongs to a church in Tampa and they’re touching the young people. It’s just absolutely amazing the revival that’s taking place in his church. Just beautiful. Just beautiful.

Let’s look at Isaiah 65:11-16. “But you are those who forsake the Lord, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Gad, and who furnish a drink offering for Meni. Therefore, I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, you did9 not answer.10

When I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before my eyes, and chose that in whi11ch I did not delight. Therefore, thus says the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty.

Behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed. Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry out for sorrow of heart and wail for grief of spirit. You shall leave your name as a curse to my chosen. For the Lord will slay you and call his servants by another name.

So that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth. And he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth because the former troubles are forgotten because they are hidden from my eyes.” It’s time that you and I in this day and age—these words were written thousands of years ago—it’s time that you and I respect the word of God and take heed to what God is saying.

How many of you belong to a church? How many of you are going to a church that feeds you with the word of God? Is your life being changed at the church where you are? I want you to answer that question to yourself. Is your life being changed at the church where you’re attending?

Is your life being changed? Are you being challenged by the messages that your pastor speaks? Or does your pastor just speak a few comforting words every week and accept you as you are? There’s nothing wrong with accepting people as they are.

But you know what? God wants to work in you and he wants to change you. He wants to change you. Let’s go to Philippians chapter 3. We’re going to look at verses 17 and 18. “Brethren, join in following my example and note those who so walk as you have us for a pattern.12

For many walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are the enemies of the cross13 of Christ.” We want to be those who end well. For those of us who are up in years, we must be in constant remembrance of these things.

We must obey the word of God and the voice of God. Now listen to this. The American Culture and Faith Institute interviewed churches across America. They asked basic questions of doctrine. Was Jesus born of a virgin? Did he live his life according to the word of God?

Is Satan real? And did Jesus die for our sins? Now listen to this. 70% of the churches interviewed did not line up or agree with the basic doctrines of the Bible. That’s sad. 2% of the churches in America are actually preaching the true doctrines of the Bible.

We definitely need revival and a visitation from the Lord God. We must pray for a visitation. We must pray for a revival. Let’s pray and end this message by praying for revival in America and whatever country you’re living in.

Whether you’re living in Japan, whether you’re living in Russia, whether you’re living in France or in Germany or Scotland, wherever you might be, let’s pray for revival. Amen. All right, let’s pray together. Lord God, we thank you Lord that you love people.

Jesus, you died for the whole entire world. You died for all the sins of the past, the sins of the present, and the sins of the future. You died for all of them. And you were raised up from the dead according to the gospel that the Apostle Paul preached.

And you were seated at the right hand of the father, and you ever live to make intercession for us. Father God, we cry out to you. We ask you, Lord, to send revival to this earth. Every nation around the globe, let revival come.

Let every evil government that stops the gospel from being preached be broken down and crumbled in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we call out for revival in every country. I pray for the people in different countries and lands who are persecuted.

I pray for my brothers and sisters in North Korea who are being persecuted for their faith. In the mighty name of Jesus, I come against every evil government that is trying to stop the gospel from being preached and is persecuting believers.

I pray in Jesus’ name for Africa, for the entire continent of Africa to be saved. I pray for Europe to be saved. I pray for Canada and all of North America to be saved. I pray for my country, the United States of America, that great revival would sweep across every state and every city in this country.

I pray, oh Lord God, that you would pour out your spirit upon all flesh. That you would cause men to bow down and to worship you and to be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, that they will be changed forever and ever.

Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I come against this Muslim flood tide that’s trying to come into different countries in Europe and also in the United States. I come against it in the mighty name of Jesus and I release power of Holy Spirit, the fire of almighty God, Jesus the king of glory.

Set this earth on fire. Baptize this world in Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, we ask you now in your precious holy name. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. If you’re watching this broadcast today and you don’t know the Lord Jesus and you’ve been convicted by your sin by Holy Spirit touching your heart, feeling a tugging inside of you right now, that’s not just me.

That is Holy Spirit nudging you and pushing you. So, I’m going to ask you to be bold right now. I’m going to ask you to pray this prayer with me and pray this prayer out loud and confess Jesus with your mouth that he is your Lord. Ask the Lord now. Say:

“Jesus, I believe that you are the son of God. I ask you to come into my heart. I need to be born again. I need to be baptized in Holy Spirit. I ask you to forgive me for every sin that I have sinned against you.

I ask you to wash me in your precious blood. Make me a new creature in Christ Jesus that I may follow you all the rest of my days. And I also ask you to lead me to a church that will teach me how to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Have your way with me, Lord. I love you, Jesus. Come into my heart. Fill me with your spirit in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.” If you prayed that prayer, and I believe many have, I want you to take my email address and write to me.

You can write to me, Pastor Rob Goodman at Zion Freedom Fellowship. [email protected]. Again, it’s [email protected]. Once I receive that email, I will respond to you and try to help you anyway that I can.

Thank you so much. May God bless you and may God pour out his spirit upon you. I pray that your family members come to know Jesus. Share this message with friends that you know that you feel that this message might bless them.

Share this message so that it can touch their heart and speak to them. Amen. Rejoice and pray for revival. No matter what happens, just rejoice and trust the Lord that he will lead and guide you in the way that you are to go.

In Jesus’ name I pray. I love you all and by the grace of God, I will see you all next week. Amen. This is Pastor Rob Goodman of Zion Freedom Fellowship saying so long until I see you all again. Blessings and much love to all of you in Jesus’ name. Amen. Love you guys.

What do you feel?
