Conservatives Praise Chevrolet Over Their New Pro-Family Christmas Commercial

In an age where most corporations are constantly churnning out woke commercials, Chevrolet did the opposite this Christmas season.

Chevrolet recently launched their new ad “Memory Lane,” which follows a married couple who share memories about raising their children.

The ad follows the couple as they travel in their 1987 Chevy Suburban to a cabin, but on the way, they recollect memories they made with their children.

GM Authority reported more on the ad:

Chevy is once again serving up some holiday-themed feels with the release of its fifth Holiday Card to America campaign and the new Memory Lane short film. The film follows the story of two empty-nesters as they drive their 1987 Chevy Suburban to the family cabin, stirring up a flood of memories along the way. This year’s campaign also expands beyond the screen, pairing the emotional short film with a series of in-person holiday events across five U.S. cities.

The new ad was created with Anomaly and Park Pictures and focuses on a couple’s yearly drive to the family cottage as they recall decades of trips with their children and the family dog. Flashbacks fill the empty rear seats with scenes of growing kids, important milestones, and all the cherished moments that make the journey worth it.

“As a father of three adult boys, the holidays give us the opportunity to reconnect, and cherish the traditions that bring us together,” said Chief Marketing Officer at Chevrolet, Steve Majoros. “This year, our focus was to invite people to remember life’s most special moments with family, with its ups and downs, and to find joy in the journey.”
