DOJ Releases Nearly 30,000 More Pages Of Epstein Files, Warns Some Of The Files May Contain “Untrue” Claims About Trump

The Department of Justice has just released its third batch of the Epstein Files.

On Tuesday morning, the DOJ released over 30,000 new pages of the Epstein files.

While posting the link on X, however, the DOJ noted that some of the files may contain untrue claims about President Trump.

The Department of Justice has officially released nearly 30,000 more pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.

Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.

Here are some of the claims made about Trump, the DOJ may be referring to:

The Independent reported more on the latest Epstein File drop:

The Department of Justice published another 30,000 pages of documents, photographs and investigative material on Jeffrey Epstein Tuesday morning, its biggest release so far.

In doing so, the DOJ warned that the latest tranche includes “untrue and sensationalist claims” against President Donald Trump but did not specify what they were.

The department released a previous selection Monday afternoon that was subsequently withdrawn but included an allegation from an unnamed assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York, dating from January 2020, that Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet “many more times than previously has been reported.”

The files also include an alleged 2019 letter from Epstein to convicted sex offender Larry Nasser, which states that Trump “shares our love of young, nubile girls.”

The president himself has not been accused of any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, the disgraced financier and sex trafficker, but has faced persistent questions about their past friendship.

Trump addressed Friday’s “partial” release of the files for the first time at a press conference Monday, warning that the process could “ruin” reputations and complaining it was overshadowing his own policy agenda.

Here’s how MTG has responded to the new Epstein File dump:

Fox News reported that one of the pages in the file dump was a letter from Jeffrey Epstein to convicted child molester Larry Nassar that referenced Trump:

Among the files was also a letter Epstein appeared to have written to former physician Larry Nassar, a convicted child molester, that was postmarked three days after Epstein died and referenced Trump.

“Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls,” the letter read. The document’s authenticity is unknown. Accompanying it was an FBI request to conduct a handwriting analysis of it.

The latest trove of documents came as part of the DOJ’s response to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a law passed last month that imposed a 30-day deadline on the department to release all unclassified material related to the cases.

The last batch of documents included several photos of former President Bill Clinton, who was pictured in a pool and hot tub. A woman whose face was redacted was featured in the latter. A Clinton spokesperson responded by demanding the DOJ release all the files and that refusal to do so would confirm the DOJ was “not about transparency, but about insinuation.” The spokesperson noted that Clinton’s name has “repeatedly” been cleared by prosecutors.
