More from the New York Post:

Sports presenter Katie Shanahan, a former England hockey player, took over when the coverage resumed and said Woods had been “taken ill,” and that she was “in very good hands,” according to Deadline.

Woods’ fiancé, former “Love Island” star Adam Collard, later shared that she is “all ok” in a message on social media.

“Laura is all OK and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages,” he wrote.

Woods explained that she feels embarrassed over the incident in a message posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

“Gosh that was a bit weird. Sorry to worry everyone, im ok, the wonderful paramedics at Saints have said its probably a virus, just need a bit of rest & hydration,” Woods said in her Instagram stories.

“I’m really embarrassed that happened on tv, but a big thank you to my colleagues at ITV who have really looked after me tonight. And to Wrighty & Neets for catching me,” she added.

“Wishing you a speedy recovery,” ITV Football wrote on X.
