Despite the BBC’s attempt to stop President Trump from suing them over a heavily-doctored clip of his J6 speech, he is not backing down.
In fact, he’s increasing the amount he plans to sue them for!
Originally, President Trump said he would be suing the BBC for $1 billion.
But now, after the BBC’s lame attempt at apologizing while still refusing to provide any compensation, President Trump says it will be somewhere between $1-5 billion!
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Friday, President Trump confirmed that he will be suing the BBC for billions.

For those who prefer to read, The Telegraph reported:
Donald Trump has confirmed he will sue the BBC for up to $5 billion (£3.8 billion) after its Panorama programme doctored one of his speeches.
Speaking to The Telegraph onboard Air Force One, Mr Trump said he would formally seek damages against the BBC as early as next week for between “$1 billion and $5 billion dollars”.
“I think I have to,” he said.
The US president added that Sir Keir Starmer was “very embarrassed” by the scandal, and that he would speak to the Prime Minister over the weekend.
The Telegraph revealed earlier this month that the BBC had doctored a speech delivered by Mr Trump to make it seem that he had encouraged the storming of the Capitol on Jan 6 2021.
The corporation on Thursday apologised to the US president after he threatened to sue it for $1 billion in damages if it did not say sorry for the edit, but rejected his claim of defamation.
ADVERTISEMENTBut speaking onboard Air Force One on Friday night, Mr Trump said he still intends to pursue legal action against the corporation and could seek up to $5 billion in damages.
“We’ll sue them for anywhere between $1 billion and $5 billion probably some time next week,” he told The Telegraph, en route to his Mar a Lago estate in Florida.
“I think I have to do it. They’ve even admitted that they cheated… They changed the words coming out of my mouth.”
“The people of the UK are very angry about what happened as you can imagine because it shows the BBC is fake news,” Mr Trump continued, saying Sir Keir was “very embarrassed” by the scandal.
Praising The Telegraph’s reporting as a “great service… exposing fake news”, he said the broadcaster had acted “worse than what CBS did with Kamala”.
On Thursday, the BBC issued a formal apology to President Trump over the fake news clip.
However, that same day, The Telegraph uncovered the startling fact that the BBC had aired a second deceptively-edited clip from President Trump’s J6 speech.
