The Trump administration has proved itself that it is taking the war on drug seriously.
On Tuesday, President Trump announced the U.S. military conducted another strike on a Venezuela drug smuggling boat.
Trump announced six male narco-terrorists were killed in the military strike off the coast of Venezuela.

USA Today reported more details on the strike:
President Donald Trump on Oct. 14 said his administration ordered another military strike on a vessel carrying illegal narcotics off the coast of Venezuela in what marks the fifth such attack in the Caribbean since September.
Trump said six male “narcoterrorists” aboard the boat were killed. In a post on X, Trump attached a video showing a strike on a boat at sea that ends with a fiery explosion.
“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking narcotics, was associated with illicit narcoterrorist networks, and was transiting along a known DTO route,” Trump said. “The strike was conducted in International Waters, and six male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike. No U.S. Forces were harmed.”
In four previous attacks on similar vessels, the Trump administration said it killed 21 individuals carrying drugs.
In February, Trump designated some drug cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations,” a move administration officials argue gives them legal justification for the strikes. But Democrats have questioned the legal basis for Trump to use the military to strike boats that don’t pose an immediate threat of attack – even if they were carrying drugs.
In October, the Republican-controlled Senate rejected a Democratic-backed bill pushed by Sens. Adam Schiff of California and Tim Kaine of Virginia that sought to halt the use of military force against boats in the Caribbean Sea.
In recent months, the U.S. Military and Venezuela military led by dictator Nicolas Maduro have been having high tensions with one another.
France 24 reported more on the U.S. military’s build up in the Southern Caribbean Sea:
The White House on Monday dismissed a request by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for talks with counterpart Donald Trump to de-escalate tensions between the two arch-foes.
The brush-off came as two Venezuelan opposition leaders backed a US naval build-up near the South American country, calling it critical for the restoration of democracy.
Trump has dispatched eight warships and a submarine to the southern Caribbean in an anti-drug operation Venezuela fears could be the preamble to an invasion.
US forces have destroyed at least three suspected Venezuelan drug boats in recent weeks, killing over a dozen people.
On Sunday, the Venezuelan government released a letter that leftist Maduro had sent to Trump.
In the missive, Maduro — whose July 2024 reelection was rejected as fraudulent by Venezuela’s opposition and much of the international community — rejected as “absolutely false” US allegations that he leads a drug cartel and urged Trump to “keep the peace.”
Reacting on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Maduro’s letter contained “a lot of lies.”
