This is pretty cool!
The Treasury Department is currently having discussions to release a $1 coin that would feature President Trump.
The coin would be released in 2026 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Take a look at a preliminary design of the coin here:

Politico reported more details on the possible Trump coin being minted:
The Treasury Department is considering producing a one-dollar coin featuring President Donald Trump to commemorate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence next year, a spokesperson confirmed on Friday.
The draft design of the coin, which was overseen by the Office of the U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach, features Trump’s profile on one side of the coin. The opposite side depicts Trump with a clenched fist in front of an American flag alongside the words “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT.”
“Despite the radical left’s forced shutdown of our government, the facts are clear: Under the historic leadership of President Donald J. Trump, our nation is entering its 250th anniversary stronger, more prosperous, and better than ever before,” a Treasury Department spokesperson said in a statement. “While a final $1 dollar coin design has not yet been selected to commemorate the United States’ semiquincentennial, this first draft reflects well the enduring spirit of our country and democracy, even in the face of immense obstacles.”
Congress in 2020 passed bipartisan legislation, signed by Trump during his first term, that authorizes the Treasury Secretary to issue one-dollar coins during the 2026 calendar year. The design of those coins must be “emblematic of the United States semiquincentennial.”
Beach, who supervises the U.S. Mint, said in a post on X Friday that the administration would share “more soon, once the obstructionist shutdown of the United States government is over.”
President Trump isn’t the only one who may get his own coin.
Republican lawmakers have drafted a bill that would place the late TPUSA Founder Charlie Kirk on a coin too.
The Hill reported more on the new bill:
A pair of GOP lawmakers is working on a bill to put Charlie Kirk’s likeness on silver dollar coins.
Republican Reps. Abe Hamadeh (Ariz.) and August Pfluger (Texas) plan to introduce the bill before the end of the week.
The lawmakers said that should the bill become law, no more than 400,000 Kirk coins would be minted.
“Charlie Kirk was a conservative titan whose transformational impact on millions of Americans deserves permanent recognition alongside our nation’s greatest leaders and influential figures,” Pfluger said in a statement.
“This commemorative coin will make Charlie the youngest American ever immortalized on legal U.S. currency, a fitting honor that cements his extraordinary legacy alongside presidents and founding fathers who shaped our republic. Through his leadership of Turning Point USA and relentless advocacy for American values, Charlie built a movement whose torch we will proudly carry forward to defend our nation’s core principles for generations to come.”
While the bill’s chances remain uncertain, the U.S. Treasury Department does not need congressional approval for individuals’ likenesses to be placed on currency.
