Yahoo News revealed the disgraced "star" mouthed "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." to his family members in court:
As Sean “Diddy” Combs was leaving a Manhattan federal courtroom after a judge sentenced him to 50 months in prison, the rapper turned to his family members and mouthed, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” and placed his hand over his heart as he has done in the past.
Combs, 55, was convicted in July on transportation to engage in prostitution charges but was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex-trafficking and racketeering.
U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian told Diddy that a lengthy sentence was necessary “to send a message to abusers and victims alike that exploitation and violence against women is met with real accountability.”
The former Bad Boys Record Founder called his actions "disgusting, shameful and sick" before he was sentenced, stating that his children "deserve better."
"I’m not this larger-than-life person,” he said. “I’m just a human being.”
“I hate myself right now. I’ve been stripped down to nothing. I’m really truly sorry for it all, no matter what they say," he said.

CNN reports the judge called this "hard time":
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months, or just over four years, in prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Federal District Judge Arun Subramanian announced the decision Friday, saying “a substantial sentence must be given to send a message to abusers and victims alike that abuse against women is met with real accountability.”
The judge noted that this is “hard time” away from Combs’ family, but also noting Combs will have a life after prison.
Combs’ lawyers had argued he should be released almost immediately, asking the judge to sentence him to no more than 14 months including time served. Prosecutors said he should’ve faced more than 11 years in prison.
Combs was found guilty of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution in July but was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to a life sentence.
