Senators Corey Booker And Adam Schiff Get Into Shouting Match With FBI Director Kash Patel During Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing

Things got heated during the recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Senator Corey Booker (D-NJ) told FBI Director Kash Patel that President Trump will soon fire him.

Booker continued to share that Patel is “failing” at his job.

The senator added that President Trump will not be “loyal” to Patel and will soon be booted.

The Hill broke down the heated exchange:

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) got into a heated exchange with FBI Director Kash Patel, telling the leader he expects President Trump will soon boot him from the job.
Booker blasted Patel for widespread firings of the bureau’s career staff, gutting leadership and crime-fighting expertise, telling him, “I believe you’re failing.”

The comments come during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing and as Patel faces GOP criticism over his leadership of the FBI in the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

“Because of your failures of leadership, I don’t think you’re fit to lead the bureau. Here’s the thing, Mr. Patel, I think you’re not going to be around long. I think this might be your last full oversight hearing,” Booker said. “Because as much as you supplicate yourself to the will of Donald Trump and not the constitution of the United States of America, Donald Trump has shown us in his first term, and in this term, he is not loyal to people like you. He will cut you loose.”

“This may be the last time I have a hearing with you, because I don’t think you’re long for your job,” Booker added.

NBC News reported Senator Adam Schiff also got into a heated argument with Patel:

Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Patel got into a shouting match amid questions about the administration’s handling of questions related to Jeffrey Epstein.

As they yelled over each other, Patel defended the administration and touted what he called “historic reform,” before pivoting to attacking Schiff’s conduct.

“You are the biggest fraud to ever sit in the United States Senate,” Patel said. “You are disgrace to this institution and an utter coward.”

Grassley banged his gavel as the two continued arguing.

“You are a political buffoon, at best,” Patel told Schiff.

“You can make an internet troll the FBI director, but will always be nothing more than an internet troll,” Schiff responded as they talked over each other.

Durbin urged Grassley to take control of the hearing, prompting Grassley to bang his gavel and say, “Both of you, be quiet.”
