FBI Director Kash Patel Says Others May Be Involved In The Assassination Of Charlie Kirk

FBI Director Kash Patel is not ruling out multiple suspects in the investigation of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

While speaking before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Patel was asked by Sen. John Kennedy if the suspected killer of Kirk Tyler Robinson acted alone.

In response, Patel shared that the FBI is still early in its investigation but did reveal that they are investigating numerous suspects.

Fox News broke the story and provided the following details:

FBI Director Kash Patel did not rule out the possibility of others being involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination as suspect Tyler Robinson awaits formal charges.

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., asked Patel if Kirk’s assassin acted alone.

“As I’ve said since the beginning, senator, it is very much an ongoing investigation, and I can’t speak to the state charges. That’s for the state to address on their own. But we are providing them with the same investigatory findings regarding the Department. And as I noted to Senator, I believe it was, Cornyn or Hawley, that there are a number of individuals that are currently being investigated and interrogated and a number yet to be investigated and interrogated, specific to that [Discord] chat room,” Patel said.

“So we are very much in our ongoing posture of investigation,” Patel added.

“So others could have been involved?” Kennedy asked him.

“Yes sir,” Patel replied.

Patel said earlier during the hearing that his agency is investigating “anyone and everyone involved” in a Discord chat with Robinson.

The Hill reported the Feds have seized Robinson’s devices and are currently investigating who he was in contact with before and after he allegedly assassinated Charlie Kirk:

FBI Director Kash Patel said “multiple” electronic devices were seized from the Utah home of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk last week, as part of the ongoing investigation.

“We are going to be interviewing scores of people, not just these chats on Discord, but any communications this individual have,” Patel said Monday evening during an appearance on Fox News’s “Hannity.”

“We’ve seized multiple electronic devices from the home of the suspect and his romantic partner,” he continued. “We’ve got computers, we’ve got laptops, gaming systems, cell phones.”

Law enforcement identified 22-year-old Robinson as the shooter who allegedly shot and killed Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University.

“The evidence and information will come out. I won’t stylize the evidence, but I will say what was found in terms of information was a text message exchange where he, the suspect, specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and he was going to do that,” the FBI director told host Sean Hannity.
