SMOKING GUN? Very Suspicious Flight Activity Seen Before and After the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

All credit for this goes to Monkey Werx, who for years has done excellent reporting on planes and plane tracking information, and to my friend MJTruth who clipped up the key part and summarized it.

And I want to be clear upfront I am not accusing anyone of wrongdoing, I’m simply reporting what seem to be some very strange circumstances so that we can all hopefully bring this killer to justice, whoever and wherever he is.

Ok, let’s start here:

FULL TEXT:

UPDATE: Charlie Kirk

🚨“I think we have a Smoking Gun…” Very Suspicious Flight Activity seen before and After the Assassination of Charlie Kirk — “They Tried to WIPE Flight Data!”

He identifies a private jet with FAA tail number N888KG, a white-liveried aircraft owned by N888KG LLC (registered in Lehi, Utah, with owner Derek Maxfield listed in some databases). This jet departed from Provo Municipal Airport (PVU), about a 10-12 minute drive from UVU, roughly one hour after the shooting (around 7:12 PM MDT on September 10). Flight tracking data from ADS-B Exchange and similar platforms shows the following anomalous path:

– The jet took off heading southeast toward the Arizona/Nevada border, consistent with a standard domestic flight at cruise speeds of 470-500 knots.

– Approximately 30-46 minutes into the flight (around 7:44-7:58 PM MDT), the aircraft’s ADS-B transponder was disabled, causing it to “go dark” or vanish from public radar. ADS-B is a FAA-mandated system (since 2020 for most U.S. aircraft) that broadcasts real-time position, altitude, and identity data for collision avoidance and tracking. Disabling it mid-flight is illegal without special authorization (e.g., for national security or emergencies) and can result in fines up to $25,000 or more.

– During this blackout, the jet could have covered 350-400 nautical miles—enough distance for a quick drop-off at remote airstrips like Page Municipal Airport (PGA) in Arizona (about 300 nm away, ~33 minutes flight time) or even further to Tuba City (TBC) before looping back.

– The jet re-emerged on radar about an hour later (around 8:30-9:00 PM MDT), now reversing course and heading back to PVU, where it landed without incident. No flight plan was filed publicly, classifying it as a “ghost flight” in tracker terminology.

– He suggests it allowed for a covert rendezvous or drop-off, calculating potential distances and ruling out innocent explanations like equipment failure (citing FAA rules). He points to the jet’s clean history (e.g., prior flights to Cancun in May 2024) but emphasizes the owner’s local Utah ties as suspicious.

– MonkeyWerx calls for the FBI (Director Kash Patel and Dan Bongino) to seize the aircraft, interview the pilots/owner, and ground it for forensic review.

FULL TRANSCRIPT FROM THE CLIP:

I’m not gonna go through any of the topics that they would discuss. I’m gonna do what I do. I’m gonna stay in my swim lane, and we’re gonna talk about the aircraft activity.

I think we got a smoking gun here, folks, and I will tell you, we definitely need to pay attention to this. I’m gonna line it all up for you. I posted it out there on Instagram as well. But this is definitely eye-opening.

It looks like an inside job. You are seeing what looks to be a political assassination. Let me take you over to this part, and we’re gonna get into the Charlie Kirk piece, all right? So, I’m gonna walk you through some timelines, and I’m just gonna read it off my Instagram post, because it’s just, it’s clean. I can just go through it all.

I’m gonna point out a couple things. First and foremost, the flights that are here, all right, got aircraft tail numbers. It’s a private owner, so you can’t really drill down into who really owns it and operates it, et cetera. It’s okay. We’ll let the feds go do that, all right?

But I will tell you this. They have wiped, or attempted to wipe, this flight data from the system, okay? Which tells you—and I’m gonna show you how I know that, okay? What happens is, you can go in and basically have those flights deleted. But if you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s not necessarily global, right?

So you could wipe it from one. It’ll take it out of one system, but it’ll still show up in another. The reason I know they have done this is because if I go over here to SkyGlass, what do you see missing? You see the two flights I just showed you on the board, okay? Now, note the time of the top one.

Do you notice here, okay, you go 9/7, 9/8, 9/10. Now, the two flights that are missing are 9/10. So why would there be two flights missing out of this? Because they took ’em out. That tells you somebody went in to deliberately sweep the data. Now, here’s the other piece too.

This particular aircraft, this is the last 30 days. You’ll notice it just went active. It hasn’t flown in the last 30 days. So it flew on 9/7 and 9/8, and you’ll notice that the timelines, all right, departs here at 10:07 on this first line. This is actually a midnight transition, all right?

So when you’re looking at that, it shows two dates, but reality is it’s one flight prior to the 9/10 stuff, okay? It took off at 10:07 PM local, all right? Hour and 52 minutes, that means they were just taking their sweet time, ’cause it can make it down there in about 30 minutes. So, this tells you very likely we had a dry run going on right here, okay?

Now, notice coming back, they leave, they departed at around 12:00 AM. They’re back in 30 minutes. So they were seeing, “How fast can we make it from there and back?” This was a timing thing, all right? Again, you go up to the top one, and you’ll notice that they pick somebody up at 6:54 PM from Provo. They fly down and back, so it’s a round trip, Provo to Provo.

But I’m gonna show you the flight data here, okay? Look at the traces. They all go to Page, Arizona, all right? Those are the flights I just showed you, all right? But these are the flight traces, Provo to Page, Arizona, back and forth. So what that tells me is they very, very likely picked somebody up up here in Provo and flew ’em down to Page, right?

And now let me go through the timelines, because this is where all of this stuff starts to kind of click together, right? Now, first, these are the two flights. So the first one, Provo to Page, okay? Note the times, okay? Note the times here, all right? So—and I’m gonna go back through the times in just a second.

And you can see this is your flight, all right? And, right, so here down right to the border. This is a little sleepy town just on the other side of Arizona, which by the way, Charlie Kirk was from Arizona. And my understanding was that I think he was even thinking about putting his name in the hat for the governor race here in Arizona.

Now, I’m not 100%, but look, if you know anything about Arizona from watching Kari Lake and all of the others that have been basically schemed out of winning the elections, you’ve learned very quickly that politics in Arizona are dirty. Very, very dirty, okay? So, all right. Let me back that up.

So there’s one flight there, one flight back, okay? And let me see. I’m gonna go ahead and I’m gonna take you over to this, ’cause I start to lay it out, all right? Okay. So this was my Instagram post, right?

Is there a connection here? The private jet and private owner, I am by no means saying this is a definitive smoking gun, okay? But I would highly suggest the authorities run this to the ground. That is just something I have to say, because, you know, people—I don’t, I don’t wanna say something bad about somebody and them not be guilty, okay? So I’m just putting that out there.

So the event, all right? So this is the aircraft in question. September 10th, it flew from Provo to Page. Scheduled departure, 2:15 local. Actual departure, 2:11 local. Landed at 2:48, so it was a 38-minute flight time, all right? Now, this jet was wheels up from Provo at 2:11 local time, so just remember that timeframe, okay?

Charlie Kirk, the shooting at Utah Valley University, was actually reported approximately around 2:05 PM local, all right? So, the major outlets started covering it around 2:20, 2:30, and then he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. I think, just given what is in the neck, I mean, you’ve got everything from your airway to your spine to your major arteries, it was pretty fast, folks. It wasn’t something that took a long time, okay?

All right. Now, here’s the thing. The Provo Airport that jet departed, right next door. It’s about 5 minutes away. So, it’s at almost the exact moment that the attack unfolded, right? Just give or take a minute or two.

If the shooting occurred a few minutes after 2:00, the aircraft was already taxiing or airborne as soon as the news broke, right? So, they would have gotten confirmation, and then they would have been, “Let’s get out of Dodge.” Now, the shooter, there was no way that shooter was actually gonna make it to this aircraft in 5 minutes. It’s 5 miles up the road.

He would have had to get off the roof, evade everything, and get in a vehicle and get to that airport. More than likely, he went one direction. They all went a different, okay? So, the timing means that the Challenger could have been used for an immediate exfil platform, not for the shooter, as I just mentioned, all right?

So by 2:48 PM, when law enforcement and media were still locking down the campus, the aircraft is already on ground in Page. Now, the individuals, the likely ones that were actually on the aircraft going to Page on the front piece of this, all right? Facilitators, liaison, right? The go-between that met locals, arranged venues, schedules, moved the cash around, et cetera, right?

Coordinated security in this aircraft, all right? Could have been a political operative. Donor handler, right? Someone whose mere presence in Provo would have raised questions. Okay? And then, the security fix lead, right? The person who sets up the safe houses, the comms, the hirelings. They don’t shoot. They’re the first ones that vanish, okay?

So, now, the interesting piece is when this thing landed, it literally spent 14 minutes on the ground. That’s enough time for everybody to get their bags, get their kits, whatever they had, deplane, and that aircraft to be headed back, okay? So, let’s move on.

This is the airport in Page, Arizona. Almost done. I’m sticking with you. Let’s fuel up, Limu.

Lots of people to tell about customizing and saving with Liberty Mutual. Oh, those are mine. And you can see, let me just kind of zoom in. Pretty small little airport, so that aircraft rolling in, it would have been easy for them to jump into an SUV and then roll out and just hide locally.

Now, the fact that we show this other flight at the top leaving at 6:54 PM and coming back at 9:07 PM, two hours and 13 minutes, means very possible that they flew back, they picked up the shooter at a later time when things had settled down, and then they took him down here to these guys.

All right? Very likely, that guy does—he’s gone, all right? He’s in a dumpster somewhere inside the city, okay? Or a shallow grave out here, okay? But nonetheless, folks, I think there’s enough evidence based on the flight data and the fact that there was this very peculiar aircraft leaving right at the time this took place within minutes that would give the feds enough eyes on to go investigate this, all right?

So, if you guys are listening, I give you everything that I can capture and grab and give it to you gladly, mkay? This stuff, I mean, this is bad, folks, and it’s a slippery slope. When you start to watch these things happen, this is the kind of stuff that happened back in JFK’s day, all right?

The other piece to this event that I do find a little suspect, I wouldn’t say totally, but look, my security detail, my top guy is a sniper, okay? And I will tell you, that’s his mindset. When he goes into somewhere that I was going to speak, or, you know, they do advance recon. They look at the scene and they do an analysis, you know?

What are the potential soft spots for security? Look, your security that you hire is about as good as it’s gonna get, and if they’re standing beside you on the stage like they do, they’re gonna stop somebody rushing the stage, more than likely, or at least buy you time to get you out of there.

But if you look at the arena, this was basically a turkey shoot. I mean, there were elevated—he’s sitting down at the bottom of a bowl, so to speak, right? Backed in and everything around on the horizon are opportunities for snipers all the way around, from complete side all the way to the front. So very, very bad location if somebody wants.

Now let’s add something else…

There were also reports that a private jet left the area and “went dark” by turning off it’s transponder.

See here:

And here:

So…is that true?

I went to Grok to ask, and it confirmed that yes connection with the transponder was lost, but Grok attributes it to “natural factors” which can be common in the area and says there was no other indication of foul play:

No, the available flight tracking data does not indicate that N888KG intentionally turned off its transponder on September 10, 2025. Instead, any perceived “disappearance” from public ADS-B tracking appears to have been caused by natural factors, such as signal interference from Utah’s mountainous terrain during the flight, which is a common occurrence in that region according to aviation reports and FAA data. Public tracking for this aircraft is restricted at the owner’s request on some platforms (e.g., FlightAware), which can create the illusion of gaps, but detailed records from other sources like FlightRadar24 show a complete round-trip flight from Provo, UT (PVU) to Page, AZ (PGA) and back, with no evidence of transponder deactivation or violations. The flight was pre-scheduled, followed a filed plan, and has no associated FAA incidents or investigations confirming foul play.

From the LatinTimes:

In the chaotic aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University (UVU), various reports of a private jet taking off from a nearby airport and illegally disappearing from tracking software have surfaced, pointing to the incident as proof of a conspiracy in the conservative commentator’s murder.

Initially, X (Twitter) users expressed concern about the continued function of Provo Airport, which is a 15-minute drive away from the UVU campus, as the shooter could potentially use it to escape.

One of them, @stellarman22 wrote “A private jet under the tail number N888KG left Provo Airport an hour after the shooting… Suspiciously 30 mins into the flight it drops off of ADS-B illegally and reappears headed back to Provo approx. an hour later… Why did this plane turn off its radar? Where is the shooter?”

Both The Daily Mail and Raw Story have reported on the jet, and social media users keep investigating.

“Flight tracking data shows the jet left the airport shortly after 2 pm and headed south towards the Arizona border before it disappeared from radars. It then reappeared on radars and returned to Provo roughly one hour after leaving the airport. The jet in question has a registered owner in the Utah city of Lehi, according to FAA data seen by the Daily Mail,” writes the publication.

The jet is registered to “N888KG” LLC, which shares a Lehi, Utah address with the Derek and Shelaine Maxfield Family Foundation, which runs the Saprea non-profit organization to help survivors of sexual abuse. Many have pointed to the foundation’s numerous connections to Israel as a cause for suspicion.

Another X user, @jonnysocialism, added that “It appears the private jet that took off after the assassination and stopped tracking was owned by the Derek & Shelaine Maxfield Foundation. They run a nonprofit called Saprea that focuses on victims of child sex abuse & have pictures of themselves visiting Israel on Facebook.”

In 2022, Saprea also launched its first-ever “kosher retreat” that offers kosher food developed “closely with Rabbi Avremi Zippel at Chabad Lubavitch of Utah.” The retreat is also “free of charge to any woman who was sexually abused at or before age 18.” Chabad Lubavitch is an Orthodox Jewish movement that faced controversy after invitingIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s former Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, to their headquarters earlier this year.

Candace Owens, Kirk’s former colleague at Turning Point USA, the conservative advocacy group he founded in 2012, also expressed suspicion about the flight. On her Instagram story, she wrote, “Planes are not ever supposed to turn off their radar.” She also shared an email address for tips on “Who called the hit on Charlie?”
