Snoop Dogg Says He’s “Scared” To Take His Grandchildren To The Movies Due To LGBTQ Characters In Kid’s Movies

Rapper Snoop Dogg has issued a rare comment on the representation of LGBTQ characters in children’s movies.

Snoop Dogg, who has mostly avoided speaking out against the LGBTQ community, recently shared he’s “scared” to go to the movies with his children nowadays due to the rampant LGBTQ ideology infiltrating them.

The west coast rapper shared that the last time he went to the movies, he watched “Lightyear” and his grandchild asked him how a woman character in the movie had a baby with another woman.

Snoop Dogg has caused a stir online after questioning LGBTQ+ representation in children’s movies.

The rapper appeared on a recent episode of the podcast “It’s Giving,” during which he said his grandson had questions while watching Disney Pixar’s “Lightyear.”

In the movie, a female character says she has a wife, and another scene shows the couple kissing and welcoming a baby.

“They’re like, ‘And she had a baby … with a woman,’” Snoop Dogg told host Sarah Fontenot. “Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie, like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She a woman!’”

He went on to say he didn’t go to the movie theater to watch that “s—.”

“I just came to watch the goddamn movie,” he said.

He then said he was “scared to go to the movies now” after his grandson’s inquiry.

“It threw me for a loop,” he said. “I’m like, ‘What part of the movie was this?’ These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. … I don’t have the answer.”
