The wins keep on coming…
The Supreme Court has just given President Trump the green-light to axe DEI and gender ideology grants at the National Institutes of Health.
In a narrow 5-4 decision, SCOTUS ruled that President Trump can cut $783 million in federal funding for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” and gender ideology research.

Notably, Chief Justice John Roberts sided with liberals against the ruling.
🚨 JUST NOW: Chief Justice JOHN ROBERTS joined the liberals and DEI Justice Ketanji Jackson in trying to block President Trump from ending woke grants at the NIH.

Extremely concerning.
If this doesn’t prove Roberts is compromised, I don’t know what does…
It’s about time Barrett came around.
Roberts needs to be investigated.

Still, the ruling is a big win for President Trump.
Specifically, it lifts a lower-court injunction that blocked the hundreds of millions of dollars in DEI grant funding from being cut.
Reuters reported:
The U.S. Supreme Court let President Donald Trump‘s administration on Thursday proceed with sweeping cuts to National Institutes of Health grants for research related to racial minorities or LGBT people, part of his crackdown on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and transgender identity. The justices granted the Justice Department’s request to lift Boston-based U.S. District Judge William Young’s decision in June that the grant terminations violated federal law, while a legal challenge brought by researchers and 16 U.S. states plays out in a lower court. The NIH is the world’s largest funder of biomedical research. The cuts are part of Trump’s wide-ranging actions to reshape the U.S. government, slash federal spending and end government support for programs aimed at promoting diversity or “gender ideology” that the administration opposes. The administration said Young’s ruling required the NIH to continue paying $783 million in grants that run counter to its priorities.
This is a huge step in the right direction.
Maybe now, the NIH can focus on doing actual research based on hard science, not woke politics.
The Hill provided some specific examples of the ridiculous research that was being conducted at the NIH:
NIH moved in February to terminate grants that do not align with President Trump’s priorities, including those related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.
U.S. District Judge William Young, an appointee of former President Reagan, blocked the cuts in June in response to lawsuits filed by health groups and 16 Democratic state attorneys general.
Administration lawyers say that the block covered $783 million in cancelled grants, which is at odds with the president’s policies. In court papers, they singled out ones that fund “Buddhism and HIV stigma in Thailand” and “controlled puberty in transgender adolescents.”
The administration went to the Supreme Court after a 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel declined to lift Young’s order.
It’s infuriating that our tax dollars were ever going to fund such deranged pseudoscience “research.”
Thankfully, all that is ending now…
Finally, a clear victory for common sense! Trump’s fight against wokeism in our health system gets strong backing from the Supreme Court.
