JUST IN: White House KICKS OUT Wall Street Journal From Trump Press Pool

The White House just responded to the Wall Street Journal‘s false report on a bogus, made-up letter from President Trump to Jeffrey Epstein — by kicking them out of the press pool for President Trump’s upcoming trip to Scotland.

Check out the good news:

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement in a statement released today.

Per The New York Times:

“Thirteen diverse outlets will participate in the press pool to cover the President’s trip to Scotland,” Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said in a statement on Monday. “Due to The Wall Street Journal’s fake and defamatory conduct, they will not be one of the 13 outlets on board.”

A Wall Street Journal spokeswoman declined to comment. Last week, Dow Jones defended its reporting in a statement: “We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit.”

No word yet on whether or not this will be just be temporary retaliation for the WSJ’s fake reporting or if it will lead to more permanent consequences.

You know, other than the giant lawsuit that President Trump has filed against the Journal…

Politico has more details:

Tarini Parti, a White House reporter for the Wall Street Journal, had been scheduled to serve as the print pooler for the final two days of Trump’s four-day trip to his golf courses in Turnberry and Aberdeen, Scotland.

But the White House, which earlier this year took over control of pool rotations from the White House Correspondents’ Association, removed her from the trip manifest, Leavitt said.

Parti was not one of the two bylines on the Epstein story.

“As the appeals court confirmed, the Wall Street Journal or any other news outlet are not guaranteed special access to cover President Trump in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One, and in his private workspaces,” Leavitt said in a statement. “Due to the Wall Street Journal’s fake and defamatory conduct, they will not be one of the thirteen outlets on board. Every news organization in the entire world wishes to cover President Trump, and the White House has taken significant steps to include as many voices as possible.”

A Journal spokesperson declined to comment.

A White House spokesperson declined to comment on whether the Journal would be included in the pool in the future, either on the White House campus or on subsequent trips.

Way to hold the fake news accountable!

They’ve gotten away with lying to the American people to push a leftist lie-filled narrative for way too long.
