“PAYROLL MANAGER”: WNBA Players Go Viral, Demanding To Be Paid What They’re Worth

This is hilarious…

The WNBA is going viral this morning.

Why?

Because someone had a sick dunk or made a game-winning three pointer?

No, of course not.

The product is unwatchable.

They’re going viral because they all wore shirts during warm-ups last night that said “Pay us what you owe us”.

Take a look:

Of course almost no one saw them since the seats are half empty, but it started going viral online.

The irony here is off the charts…

You might not know this, but it turns out the WNBA is not profitable and it never has been in its entire 28-year history.

NEVER ONCE MADE A PROFIT IN 28 YEARS!

It’s a DEI league, entirely subsidized by the NBA.

Grok has the facts:

The WNBA has not been profitable in its 28-year history, consistently reporting annual losses.

In 2018, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver estimated the league’s average annual loss at around $10 million. This figure reportedly increased to $50 million in 2024, despite revenue growth to an estimated $180–$200 million in 2023, up from $102 million in 2019.

The league has relied on subsidies from the NBA, ranging from $10–$15 million annually, to cover operating costs.

However, there are signs of financial progress:

  • In 2010, one team reported positive cash flow.

  • By 2013, six of the 12 teams were profitable.

  • The WNBA raised $75 million from investors in 2022.

  • A new media rights deal starting in 2026 is expected to bring in $200 million annually, potentially improving the league’s financial outlook.

Despite these gains, the league’s overall expenses — including recent investments in charter flights and facility upgrades — have kept it in the red.

Some argue that reported losses may be influenced by accounting practices or reinvestment strategies, as is common in growing leagues, and that the WNBA’s trajectory mirrors the early years of other major sports leagues like the NBA or MLS, which took decades to become profitable.

Nonetheless, based on available data, the WNBA has yet to achieve overall profitability.

But one team went profitable back in 2010, that’s their claim to fame.

Hilarious!

Pay you what you’re worth?

Ok, you all OWE the League money!

I was actually surprised to learn how little the players are actually paid.  Neither of the top 2 players earn over $80k a year!

For the 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark is set to earn a base salary of $78,066 with the Indiana Fever, as part of her four-year rookie contract worth $338,056. Angel Reese, playing for the Chicago Sky, will earn a base salary of $74,909 in 2025, under her four-year rookie contract valued at $324,383. These figures reflect the WNBA’s collective bargaining agreement, with Clark’s slightly higher salary due to her No. 1 overall draft pick status compared to Reese’s No. 7 pick in 2024.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a garbage product and even at $80k they are overpaid.

Unwatchable garbage:

Gotta love old-school Jim Rome ripping the WNBA to pieces and asking David Stern back in the day when he was going to kill it every single time he interviewed him:

But now the best part of the story….

As the players were going viral on Twitter for their ridiculous shirts, “Payroll Manager” suddenly started trending:

Why is Payroll Manager trending?

Because of “Big Jaz That Plug” who entered the discussion with “Payroll Manager here” and then face-planted so hard while thinking she was going to school everyone clowning the players for their ridiculous shirts:

Let’s just say the “Payroll Manager” was mercilessly trolled so hard she became one of the top trending posts on Twitter for having such a horrible take:

“Business Owner” then chimed in to educate the “Payroll Manager”:

Memo to the Payroll Manager….shut up and cut the checks.  We don’t need your economic opinion.

In other words: “shut up and dribble”:

This made my day.

Thanks “ladies” for your totally absurd shirts, they really made my day!

Oh, and speaking of “ladies”…..can anyone explain this to me?

Brittney Griner Opens Up To Cam Newton — You Have To Hear This

Brittney Griner opened up to Cam Newton about her time in a Russian prison.

And you have to hear this...

No, not the story.

I don't really care about that.

You just have to hear "her" voice.

Seriously, hit play and then close your eyes and tell me if this is a man or woman speaking:

What did you think?

Is that the voice of a man or a woman?

I've covered this before, but can anyone explain this?

Ummm, Why Does Brittney Griner Sound Like This?

Have you ever listened to someone on the radio for a long time but never known what they look like?

Then you see a picture of them one day and it's not at all what you had in your head?

This is the reverse of that situation.

You've probably seen Britteny Griner before, but have you ever HEARD her?

Let's just say after you hear her, you might be asking if "her" is the appropriate pronoun to be used in that sentence.

Just take a look and see for yourself -- or should I say, hear for yourself:

Backup video here if needed:

Come on folks, be honest...

Is that a woman?

Have you ever heard a woman sound anything like that?

Close your eyes and listen, and then tell me you wouldn't bet everything you own on that being 100% a man....

And it's not like it's just a weird video or bad audio or something.

No, I've documented this many times before.

Not just the voice, but also the fact that "she" constantly walks around topless:

Why Is Brittney Griner Walking Around Topless and Sounding Like a Man?

Why Is Brittney Griner Walking Around Topless and Sounding Like a Man?

Since the WNBA is hot right now and I can't turn on the news without seeing a story about Caitlyn Clark, I thought we should talk some WNBA too!

But I don't want to talk about Caitlyn Clark or all the thugs that keep trying to injure her in the games....

And I definitely don't want to talk about the actual basketball.

No, what I want to talk about is Brittney Griner and "her" voice....HOLY CRAP!

Have you ever heard "her" talk before?

No, I'm not just being rude or insensitive, I'm literally asking if you have ever heard "her" talk.

Because it's very jarring!

All I can say when I hear it is:

If you're like me and you've never listened to her speak before, you might be just as shocked as I was to hear this.

Understand one thing.....

The video I am about to show you has not been altered in any way.  This is her real speaking voice.

Just watch and listen and then watch and listen again with your eyes closed:

Backup:

I know some of you will say "who cares" so I'll address that.

I care.

I care if someone blatantly lies to the entire country.

I care if someone pretends to be a woman so that person can play women's sports and beat up on bio women.

I care if that person breaks a law in another country and we have to trade real and dangerous prisoner to get them back (why did we do that again?).

So it matters.

Truth always matters.

And now for those people who will say that video is edited or altered, I'll give you a bunch more all showing that deep, billowy, manly voice:

But that's not all....

Not only does dude sound like a man, dude also LOOKS like a man and walks around shirtless.

I don't care how "flat chested" a lady may be, I've never known an adult women who walks around topless.

Have you?

Take a look:

Backup here:

I asked Grok if Brittney Griner was a man and Grok said no, but then claimed she was a "lesbian" married twice to women:

Hmmmm, what if she's just a man married to a woman?

What does Occam's Razor tell us?

The simplest answer is usually the right one.

So let's apply it here....

The person LOOKS like a man, SOUNDS like a man, and has been married twice to a woman.

What is most likely....

Option 1 -- a very strange sounding woman who has no breasts to speak of who is a lesbian married to women.

Option 2 -- dude is a dude.

What does everyone think?

I'm not making any claim, just asking questions and reporting what I see with my eyes and hear with my ears....

This dude Chris May seems to be piecing things together:

What's your opinion?
