Okay, this was odd.
Just days after Charlie Kirk led several discussions and invited speakers to discuss the Epstein files at the TPUSA event in Florida over the weekend, he has now decided to be silent on the subject.
During his show on Monday, Kirk shared that he will no longer talk about the Epstein files and will instead trust his “friends” in the FBI and DOJ.
The Hill shared more details on Kirk’s statement:
Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk said Monday he is trusting the Trump administration to handle the files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
“Plenty was said this last weekend at our event about Epstein,” Kirk said on his show on Real America’s Voice, referring to last weekend’s Turning Point USA conference in Tampa.
“Honestly, I’m done talking about Epstein for the time being. I’m going to trust my friends in the administration, I’m going to trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, ball’s in their hands,” he continued.
Kirk went on to say that he would “love” to see the Justice Department move forward to unseal the grand jury testimony, saying it would be “a big win.”
“I’m going to trust my friends Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, my friend Pam Bondi. All these guys,” Kirk said, adding Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
“Ball’s in their court. I think that there was plenty of, let’s say, speeches that were directed towards this topic this last weekend. So we don’t need to spend our valuable time on this program relitigating it,” he said.
Last week, the DOJ and FBI released a joint memo saying Epstein did not have a client list and confirmed he died by suicide in his New York City jail cell in 2019. The memo’s release has angered members of the MAGA movement, who have elevated conspiracy theories about the financier’s death and claims that a number of high-profile Democrats were named on a client list.

Kirk invited Tucker Carlson to speak at the event, who also talked about Epstein:

The Independent shared that Kirk changed his stance after talking to Trump on the phone:
The marching orders have been received, and some of Donald Trump’s most loyal foot soldiers in the MAGA media ecosystem are already dutifully falling in line.
After the right-wing uproar over the Justice Department’s Jeffrey Epstein memo hit a crescendo this weekend after the president’s Truth Social post calling for the MAGA base to let it go and leave Attorney General Pam Bondi alone, key Trump ally Charlie Kirk declared Monday that he was “done talking about Epstein” for the time being.
Kirk’s announcement comes a day after he spoke to the president on the phone to express his support for Bondi, according to CNN. Bondi has come under extreme fire from MAGA critics, including Kirk, who have blasted the attorney general for releasing an unsigned memo last week concluding that Epstein had no “client list,” died by suicide while awaiting trial and did not blackmail prominent figures who allegedly took part in his underage sex trafficking.
