REPORT: Iran May Have Hit Israeli Nuclear Facility *LIVE UPDATES*

There are reports that Iranian missiles have successfully targeted and HIT one of Israel’s nuclear facilities.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: I am working to corroborate this story as fast as possible.  There are MULTIPLE reports of this incident, which could be an indicator of truth.

But as we all know… first reports during the fog of war can be wrong.

At the moment, the Dimona Nuclear Facility in Israel is rumored to have been hit in the latest round — the third wave — of Iran’s response to Israel’s comprehensive attack on it’s own nuclear facilities:

That footage has been circulating for the past hour, initially labeled to have been footage of an impact in the Tel Aviv area.

I included it in a previous story as the Iranian response unfolded within the last few hours with missiles raining down over Tel Aviv and other areas of Israel.

At the moment, I am not sure whether that video is of the Tel Aviv area — as originally alleged — or somehow connected to the possible impact on an Israeli nuclear site.

Multiple well-known accounts are sharing that footage, now stating that it depicts an impact on the Dimona Nuclear Facility.

This is a photo of that facility in the daylight, at least from one direction:

For what it’s worth, that particular facility is nowhere near Tel Aviv, and is located more in the southern desert area south of Hebron.

Again — this is very early information with very limited sourcing.

In the interest of reporting news as it happens within a very quickly developing situation, I’m bringing you what I’m seeing with the caveat that it has NOT BEEN VERIFIED.

But this is one of the most dangerous scenarios that could unfold with Israel and Iran trading missile salvos.  And if there’s a chance the worst just happened, I don’t want to be caught withholding information that could inform your own decisions in the coming days.

Here’s one of the few reports I could find actually stating that the Iranians are taking credit for hitting the facility, according to Republic:

Iran has claimed that it has strike a nuclear facilty in Israel’s Dimona in retaliation to Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities in Tehran.

Iran has claimed its missiles hit Israeli nuclear facility of Dimona after it fired a rain of missiles and drones towards Tel Aviv, in retaliation to Israeli strikes over nuclear facilities in Tehran.

According to reports, Iran has launched over 150 missiles towards Tel Aviv on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. The strike came after Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a stern warning said that they will bring ruin upon the ‘Despicable’ Zionist Regime.

Earlier, Israeli strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities had eliminated key military leaders and scientists, escalating the tension between the two nations once again.

I am seeing more and more reports that the Dimona facility has taken damage:

And more…

The fact that there are multiple reports saying the same thing doesn’t mean this is factual — it MAY mean that the fog of war is rolling in, and everyone is trying to stay ahead of the confusion.

Often, unfortunately, that only ADDS to the confusion.

In most cases, I would not share a story like this until I had it 99% confirmed.  But given the potential dangers associated if the reports do turn out to be accurate, I have opted to make the information known to our readers as is.

UPDATE: [6:55PM CST / 6-13-25]

The official government news agency of Iran is indirectly reporting that the Dimona Nuclear Facility in Israel has been hit.

Reporting by IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency) stops shy of claiming the Dimona site was hit.

Instead, it is simply reporting that other sources are claiming that Dimona was successfully targeted by Iranian missiles.

Here’s that report, published within the last few hours, by IRNA:

Several missiles launched by Iran hit the building of Israel’s Ministry of National Security, IRNA reports.

Meanwhile, the IRGC reports that the Iranian Armed Forces have struck dozens of targets on Israeli territory.

The Telegram channel “Military Observer” reports that a key Israeli nuclear facility in Dimona has been attacked. It is reported that the government complex in the Kirya, where the IDF’s fortified command center is located, was almost completely destroyed as a result of the Iranian strike.

Most of that information can be corroborated through other sources, including Israeli media and official IDF reports, as being factual.

The strike on the Dimona Nuclear site is the only part of that report that I have yet to hear validated either by Israel or independent sources.

UPDATE: [7:15PM CST / 6-13-25]

There are starting to be reports that a “strategic facility” has been hit inside Israel.

It is possible — THOUGH STILL UNCONFIRMED — that the facility in question is the Dimona Nuclear site in southern Israel:

Former CIA Intel Analyst Larry Johnson is also stating that the Dimona Facility has in fact been hit, along with Israel’s Defense Headquarters — the equivalent of Israel’s Pentagon:

UPDATE: [8:20PM CST / 6-13-25]

Reports are coming in following another round of strikes by Israel that Iran is launching a new salvo of missiles.

Multiple reports indicate hypersonic missiles are being used to strike Tel Aviv:

I am still attempting to corroborate the reports that the Dimona facility was hit, though as time goes on it seems more plausible than it did at the outset.

This remains a developing story, and has yet to be corroborated.

I will update this story as soon as more information is available.
