It all started with this post from Sen. Mike Lee asking “Would you support this amendment?”
He means Amendment to the Constitution and he’s quoting Warren Buffett who famously once said he could balance the budget and eliminate the deficit in a heartbeat, just pass a Law or Amendment that says any time there is a deficit of 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for reelection.”

We’ve all heard it before.
But the news is that Elon Musk then reposted Mike Lee saying 💯 and “This is the way”.

Quite frankly, I love the idea.
Why can’t we do this?
And why can’t we pass a simple one-page bill making the 2017 tax cuts permanent?
Do it in one page.
Nothing else added.
I could write that up in about 20 minutes and it could be passed tonight.
What in the Sam Hell is wrong with Congress?
They ALL need to go!
