Democrat City CANCELS “LGBTQ Pride” Event Due to Low Interest

The tide is turning…

In a very clear sign that our culture is finally shifting away from the woke LGBTQ nonsense that has been so rampant in society these past several years, a liberal city has just canceled an upcoming “Pride” event.

Boise, Idaho was forced to scrap plans for their kickoff event to “Pride Month” due to low turnout.

The Pride Season Kickoff, initially scheduled for June 6, has been canceled due to insufficient attendance, despite strong online enthusiasm. The event was intended to enhance LGBTQ+ visibility and community connection in June, serving as a precursor to the main Boise Pride celebration in September.

Organizers expressed their commitment to expanding Pride in Boise, emphasizing the need for active community participation to bring new events to life. “We know the desire for more Pride programming is real—we hear it constantly,” they said. However, they noted that early community buy-in is crucial for the success of events outside the flagship festival.

It’s unclear whether the “insufficient attendance” refers to not selling enough tickets or not getting enough funding from sponsors.

June “Pride Month” has effectively been decommissioned on a federal level by President Trump’s administration.

But, many Democrat strongholds throughout the nation are still scheduling “Pride” parades and pushing LGBTQ propaganda.

Boise, for instance, adopted the LGBTQ flag as an official city flag in order to get around a new law preventing the display of Pride flags in government buildings.

Boise Mayor Lauren McLean says she’ll keep displaying the pride flag on government property even though Idaho has passed a law banning that.

Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 96 into law letting only certain flags be displayed by government entities.

But, despite what the Boise government is doing, it’s very possible that the people of Boise are sick of the nonsense.

Or, perhaps local businesses in Boise saw the writing on the wall and decided to distance themselves by cutting off funding to Pride parades, as well.

Either way, it’s a big win that marks a significant change…

Who would’ve thought people would grow tired of supporting mental illness and seeing grown, bearded men dressed in scanty women’s clothes parading down their streets?

Gee…who would have thought that gender dysphoria would be so unpopular? 🤣
I guess people have better things to do than watch half-naked mental patients walk down the street yelling “look at me.”
