President Trump Torches ‘Exhausted, Highly Neurotic’ MSNBC Host For Trashing UK Trade Deal

After President Donald Trump announced a “breakthrough” trade agreement with the United Kingdom, it didn’t take long for his leftist haters in the mainstream media to start spinning the development as somehow negative for his administration and the U.S. economy.

One notable example came from MSNBC personality Stephanie Ruhle, who took a particularly dim view of the framework discussed by Trump and U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Naturally, Trump wasn’t shy about sharing his thoughts on the segment, as Alternet reported:

Ruhle continued, “I’m not saying Donald Trump has changed what he thinks in his heart, but he’s backed into a corner — and he needs to get off this crazy tariff train and he knows it…. Unless he turns this around three weeks from now, you walk into a store — and we’re going to have a COVID-like supply-chain crisis. And Trump is looking for an exit.”

Trump had an angry reaction to the broadcast.

About ten or 11 minutes after Ruhle’s “backed into a corner” comments, Trump went to his Truth Social platform and posted, “MSNBC, the worst there is on Television misrepresentation, is so far knowingly off in their statements about me and Tariffs that it should be considered a Major Campaign Violation. They are nothing less than an arm of the Democrat National Committee, and their untruths are incredible, real losers. Their ratings are down the tubes, but that pressure on them doesn’t give them the right to lie and cheat!”

Ruhle’s statement — and Trump’s reaction — quickly became a trending topic on X:

JUST IN: Trump blasts @MSNBC Stephanie Ruhle (@SRuhle) for “spewing LIES about Tariffs.”

Trump writes, “I just watched an exhausted, highly neurotic Stephanie Ruhle spew LIES about Tariffs, as do many others, in order not to give me the Victory that they all see coming. Few people know Stephanie Ruhle, but I do, and she doesn’t have what it takes. Our Deal with the United Kingdom yesterday was AMAZING for both Countries and, in addition to everything else, British Airways just ordered $10 Billion Dollars worth of new Boeing planes. We’re going to make a fortune with Tariffs, only smart people understand that, and Stephanie was never known as a “High IQ” person. MSDNC has become the Voice of the Democrat Party, and they should be treated as a Political Advocate with all of the Taxes and Penalties therefrom. Their Ratings are terrible, but Brian Roberts and his crew should be forced to TELL THE TRUTH. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

As for what’s in the U.S.-U.K. trade deal, here’s some coverage from Fox Business:

In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared, “Today is an incredible day for America as we deliver our first Fair, Open, and Reciprocal Trade Deal — Something our past Presidents never cared about.”

“Together with our strong Ally, the United Kingdom, we have reached the first, historic Trade Deal since Liberation Day,” Trump also said. “As part of this Deal, America will raise $6 BILLION DOLLARS in External Revenue from 10% Tariffs, $5 BILLION DOLLARS in new Export Opportunities for our Great Ranchers, Farmers, and Producers, and enhance the National Security of both the U.S. and the UK through the creation of an Aluminum and Steel Trading Zone, and a secure Pharmaceutical Supply Chain.”

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer phoned into the White House while Trump was announcing the pact, calling it a “really important deal” that is “going to boost trade between and across our countries,” protect and create jobs, and open market access.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick also revealed Thursday that the U.K. is buying $10 billion worth of Boeing planes.
