WATCH: Stunning Footage Shows Airplane Making Emergency Landing On Golf Course

Wild footage captured a small airplane making an emergency landing on a golf course at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

“According to reports, the single-engine aircraft was carrying three people and managed to land safely with no injuries, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Fire Department. The plane was en route to Santa Monica Airport, located just five miles from Riviera,” Rawsalerts wrote.

“The cause of the emergency landing remains unknown, but as with all such incidents, it will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board,” it added.

KTLA reports:

L.A. and Santa Monica fire departments responded to the scene and were investigating the plane itself, officials said.

Additional details remain limited at this time.

Nearly the same time the plane made the emergency landing, a plane reportedly overshot the runway at the Fullerton Airport in Orange County.

This emergency landing, like all aircraft emergencies, will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.

Golf courses are often a go-to runway for pilots during emergencies — including legendary actor and pilot Harrison Ford.

The scruffy nerf-herder suffered head injuries and a broken arm when he busted up his vintage World War II plane at LA’s Penmar Golf Course shortly after taking off from Santa Monica Airport back in 2015.

The Riviera Country Club will be the site of men’s and women’s golf during the 2028 Olympic Games.

Though it was unaffected by the Palisades Fire, Tiger Woods moved his Genesis Invitational from the Riviera to Torrey Pines out of respect for the deadly blazes.
