Democrat Congressman Introduces Articles Of Impeachment Against President Trump – “Enough Is Enough”

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) has introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump.

“I have introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump. When Trump ignores the Constitution, Congress, and the courts, he is not ‘fighting for America,’” Thanedar said.

“He is tearing it down and endangering our democracy,” he added.

Per Axios:

It’s the first time this year a House Democrat has tried to impeach the president or a member of his administration — though it will almost certainly not be the last.

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas), who was censured last month for disrupting Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress, has said he is planning articles of impeachment as well.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) also privately floated impeaching Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard over Signalgate.

Thanedar — who garnered a second primary challenger on Monday morning — said in a statement that Trump is “unfit to serve as President and represents a clear and present danger to our nation’s constitution and our democracy.”

MLive reports:

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) introduced seven articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump Monday, claiming the president is unfit to serve in office. In a video shared on social media Monday, Thanedar laid out the seven articles and criticized Trump for allegedly “violating the constitution” and “doing real damage to our Democracy.”

Thanedar specifically pointed to Trump’s refusal to cooperate with a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling regarding the return of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia to the U.S. The Court ruled last week that Trump’s administration must facilitate Garcia’s return to the U.S. so proper due process can be followed in that case.

“The Court said the wrongfully deported Kilmar Garcia must be allowed to return and receive due process,” Thanedar said. “Trump ignored it. He ignored the Constitution. He ignored the very checks and balances that keep our Democracy intact.”

My only question is this:
