House Democrat Wants President Trump Impeached ‘NOW’ For Deporting Illegal Immigrant: ‘I’ve Seen Enough’

President Donald Trump’s far-left critics keep going back to a convoluted narrative about one El Salvadoran deported from Maryland in an attempt to derail the current administration’s America-first agenda.

And now, one Democratic lawmakers is calling for Trump to be immediately impeached for deporting the illegal immigrant and alleged violent gang member.

As Breitbart reported:

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) posted to X after the ruling saying he thinks the administration’s actions warrant Trump’s impeachment.

“I’ve seen enough,” Thanedar wrote. “Donald Trump is not abiding by a lawful Supreme Court ruling. As a member of Congress, I fully support impeaching him. NOW.”

As Breitbart News previously reported, the Supreme Court’s decision clarified that the Trump administration does not have to immediately retrieve Garcia from El Salvador, noting that the judge-imposed deadline has already expired while advising it “should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps.” The ruling criticized District Judge Paula Xinis for potentially overstepping by ordering the government to “effectuate” his return, which could infringe on the executive’s foreign affairs authority. The district court was directed to clarify its order with deference to the president’s powers.

Although the impeachment call is unique, Thanedar is far from the only elected Democrat engaging in hyperbole and flat-out misrepresentation when it comes to the case of Abrego Garcia:

For her part, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made it clear where the Trump administration stands, per The Hill:

Leavitt also indicated Abrego Garcia would simply be deported again if he was returned to the U.S.

“Deporting him back to El Salvador was always going to be the end result. There is never going to be a world in which this is an individual who is going to live a peaceful life in Maryland,” Leavitt told reporters at a briefing.

“Because he is a foreign terrorist and an MS-13 gang member. Not only have we confirmed that, [El Salvador] President [Nayib] Bukele yesterday in the Oval Office confirmed that as well,” Leavitt continued. “So he went back to his home country, where he will face consequences for his gang affiliation and his engagement in human trafficking. I’m not sure what is so difficult about this for everyone in the media to understand.”
