FBI Arrests Top MS-13 Gang Leader In Virginia


U.S. authorities have announced they arrested one of the top MS-13 gang leaders in the United States.

In a joint operation between the FBI, ATF, ICE, and the Prince William County Police Department, authorities arrested a 24-year-old suspected MS-13 gang leader in Woodbridge, Virginia.

AG Pam Bondi shared, “He is an illegal alien from El Salvador, and he will not be living in our country much longer.”

U.S. authorities did not release the suspect’s name.

U.S. authorities have arrested one of the top leaders of the MS-13 gang in the country, the FBI announced Thursday.

The 24-year-old suspect was captured in Woodbridge, Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C. Officials confirmed he is among the top three leaders of the gang in the United States.

The arrest was a joint effort, according to United States Attorney General Pam Bondi. The operation included the FBI joined by the Prince William County Police Department, ATF, ICE, and the Virginia State Police.

Officials discussed the details of the arrest on Thursday morning at a press conference at FBI headquarters in Prince William County, Virginia.

AG Bondi shared officials have been working on this operation for days and weeks. The suspect apprehended was the top leader of MS-13 for the U.S. East Coast.

“He is an illegal alien from El Salvador, and he will not be living in our country much longer.”

Officials captured the 24-year-old suspect in Woodbridge, Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C. Authorities have yet to release the suspect’s name, but they say he is one of the top three leaders of the MS-13 gang in the U.S.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel watched the arrest unfold from a nearby tactical operations center. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and senior DOJ official Emil Bove were also present.

“They executed a clean, safe operation and the bad guys in custody. And thanks to the FBI, we got one of the worst of the worst of the MS-13 off the streets this morning. Virginia and the country is a lot safer today,” Bondi told Fox News following the arrest.
