Upon entering office, President Donald Trump wasted no time rolling back some of the most controversial executive actions implemented by his predecessor.

He clearly wasn’t finished, though, as proven by a decisive move he made earlier this week.
As The Hill reported:
Trump signed an executive order late Friday that rescinded 18 executive actions signed by Biden during his four-year term in an effort to “reverse damaging policies and restore effective government,” according to a White House official.
With Friday’s executive order signed, Trump has reversed nearly 100 executive actions in his first two months back in office as he moves to reshape the federal government.
Trump rescinded Biden’s executive action that “elevated radical gender ideology in U.S. diplomacy and foreign aid.” Since returning to office, Trump has sought to roll back transgender rights, including signing an executive order recognizing only two sexes.
The previous administration also authorized the Department of Energy to utilize the Defense Production Act (DPA), first enacted in 1950, to expand the U.S. manufacturing of clean energy technology. That was ended Friday, including “mandates” for electric heat pumps and solar panels.
Trump also revoked an executive order, signed by Biden in 2024, focused on bettering labor standards. Biden’s order directed federal agencies to prioritize various labor practices, including high wages, a pathway to joining a union and safety in the workplace.
Trump’s latest effort to erase the mark Biden left on D.C. has attracted significant social media support:

Biden’s signature itself has also come under scrutiny in recent days amid reports that an autopen, not his actual endorsement, was used to enact multiple executive actions:

Fox News also reported on Trump’s latest action:
Since taking office, Trump has rescinded more executive orders than the total number of orders signed by Biden during the first year of his presidency, a White House fact sheet states.
“President Trump is committed to continuing the review and repeal of harmful Biden administration policies to usher in a new golden age for America,” the fact sheet said.
In addition, Trump pared down the functions of multiple agencies as he continues to downsize the federal government.
A White House official told Fox News Trump’s actions eliminate non-statutory functions and reduce the statutory functions of unnecessary governmental entities to what is required by law.
The entities affected include the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, United States Agency for Global Media, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Institute of Museum and Library Services, United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, Minority Business Development Agency and Arctic Research Commission.
