Jesse Watters appeared to speak for the majority of the panel during a recent episode of Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” reacting to a Democratic strategist’s claim with an incredulous, “Really?”
Jessica Tarlov had just shared her opinion about reports that failed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz is preparing to launch a series of town hall events.
As the Daily Caller reported:
“All right, so what’s going on, Jessica?” Watters asked as the other panelists could be heard echoing, “Yeah. What’s going on?”
ADVERTISEMENT“I think it’s good that Tim Walz is out there,” Tarlov said.
Watters questioned the Democratic strategist’s response, asking, “Really?” as other panelists could be heard being surprised by her statement.
“It’s better than not confronting it, and he’s taking responsibility, which people were asking for,” Tarlov said. “They wanted Biden to take responsibility.”
While Harris was clearly a flawed candidate in her own right, many pundits agree that Walz seemed to only hurt the campaign through a series of gaffes and false statements:

Fox News also reported on Walz’s upcoming town hall tour:
On Friday, Walz is hosting a town hall in Des Moines, Iowa, where Rep. Zach Nunn, R-Iowa, has represented the state’s 3rd Congressional District in the House of Representatives since 2023. The Iowa Democratic Party’s fundraising flier for the event alleges “Zach Nunn has refused to host a public town hall since he was sworn into office in 2023.” Nunn took aim at the Democrats, in response to the town hall, for calling “a fundraiser a forum.”
“The American people spoke loud and clear in November—they voted for change. I’m delivering to: secure the border, unleash US energy, and cut taxes for working Americans. If out-of-state Democrats want to call a fundraiser a ‘forum,’ they should join us at our listening sessions, where Iowans help drive real results. Next week, I begin my Air Force Reserve duty—I hope the Senate avoids a Schumer Shutdown, so our troops continue to get paid,” Nunn said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
ADVERTISEMENTWalz’s office did not reply to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on his upcoming town halls.
It wasn’t long after Harris selected Walz as her running mate before Republicans began highlighting his awkward and controversial behavior:
